In August 2023 I hired Blue Ribbon Pavers (****, owner) to pave our backyard. **** failed to listen to my specs and I ended up having to pay MORE (because he didn't get enough pavers) for a job in which he did NOT deliver the promised pattern (again because he didn't get enough pavers). At the end of the job, we realized that his workers had not brushed the peristaltic sand in between the pavers. We called and they came back out, putting down sand but using a blower rather than brooming the sand in between the pavers. After this, we saw that his workers had swept and blown both the base sand on which the pavers had been laid AND the peristaltic sand (which hardens when it gets wet) into the two areas set aside for planting, as well as around four trees. The peristaltic sand then hardened after a rainstorm, severely restricting the amount of water that could soak into the ground for the plants and trees. After finding out my landscaper wanted $1,200.00 to remove the sand, which is quite deep, I called and **** (again, the owner) promised to have his workers come back out and remove the sand. It took numerous calls and it wasn't until my husband, who was very ill, called that workers finally came. They cleared a little around the trees and the planting area on the north end of the yard. They did not clear the planting area on the east side of the yard, nor did they finish clearing around the trees. I can't count the number of times I called. Once **** answered and said he thought it had been done; I said no and he promised to send "his" people. He never did. When my husband passed away, my father-in-law took over trying to get this resolved, to no avail. The final time my father-in-law called, **** answered and said, "I can't talk to you. Text me." My father-in-law did so, and got no response. Either **** sends workers out to complete the sand removal TO MY SATISFACTION or gives me a refund of $800.00 so that I can hire my landscaper to remove the remaining sand.Initial Complaint

Blue Ribbon Pavers installed a paver driveway at my residence. When the job was complete, I informed the owner of several items that were not complete to my satisfaction. The owner agreed to all of my requests, and he was paid in full prior to the outstanding items being completed. Over two months have expired and only one of the five items are complete. The company now will not answer my calls / texts. The following is a list of the outstanding items: 1) Repair / add additional asphalt to the end of the driveway to repair the damage to the roadway caused by the company. 2) Repair and make function existing driveway lights damaged by the installation (now, none of the lights work) 3) Replace power transformer with new WiFi transformer. (We purchased a WiFi transformer, but one was not installed. The company has since installed a used wifi transformer). A NEW unit is required, used is unacceptable. 4) Provide one 5-gal can of identical sealant used in the job.Business response

This matter has already been addressed 2 months ago. The customer contacted you to let you know that the job was completed to his satisfaction. We called him again today, to be sure, and he said that he would reach out to you again, as he is very happy with the job.
