This complaint is being filed because I feel I was taken advantage of by Parker Towing and Storage of Parker *******. This incident happened on May 5th of 2024 when I was traveling from ****** Az to ********. My class A ******************************* broke down 10 miles from Quartzsite and was towed by Parker towing to their repair facility in ********** Az. This happened late in the afternoon on 5/3/2024. They ran some diagnostics an said the issue was one of 3 possibilities fuel pressure, fuel pump, or a faulty *** Electronic Controller Module. I had to continue on to Wa and left the motor home in their shop. They called on the 7th and I was told that they had diagnosed the problem and it was in fact the *** and it had to be towed to ******* to *********************** because only ********* could replace the ***. *************************** (*********************) *************) told me that the tow truck driver told him and the service tech that it was being towed due to a defective ***. *********************** ran their Diagnostics and Trouble Shooting and Found the problem to actually be a bad (Mass Air Flow Sensor) which they replaced and released the Motorhome to me on 6/03/2024. This whole affair should never have happened if Parker Towing had done due diligence in trouble shooting the problem in the first place at their facility. That is is why I have lodged a dispute with the credit card company over the towing bill of $198757 and also why I am lodging this complaint with the better Business Burea.

good morning, parker towing was called for assistance for **************** motor home. So let it be known that parker towing is not in the repair business. The part time driver (****) has his own shop in Quartzsite. (BEST AUTO) i am not involved in any repair dispute between (BEST AUTO) and **************. It is my understanding that ( **** AT BEST AUTO) offered to look at his motor home with out success and (NO CHARGE). the repair was referred to the **** dealership. it is my understanding that parker towing towed the motor home at the quoted price , without any damages authorized by *************. Any repair complaints should be addressed to ( ****, AT BEST AUTO) PH # ************** and not parker towing. thank you...

My son and myself were told that the tow truck drive was the owner thats all we were told and it was towed to the repair site in **********. Where we we told that the problem could be three possibilities 1. Fuel pressure 2. Fuel Pump 3. A defective ECM. We were then told that it was a defective ECM and it would have to be towed to ********* **** in ******* as they were the only ones that could repair a defective ECM. I have a contact ********************* at *************************** that will testify that the tow truck driver told him and the Technician that the reason it was towed was a defective ECM. When the repair was completed it was not a defective ECM but was a defective Mass Air Flow which should been found by the repair facility in **********. *********************** also told me that the tow truck drive was supposed to have put the drive line back on but did not plus had damaged the drive line cap bolts which they had to spend time repairing them in order to complete their job on the motor home plus the technician told the tow truck he would bet a months wages that it was not a defective ECM which was the case. There for its my position that it was towed under false premise to ********* **** and should have been repaired in the Quartzsite repair facility.

ok once again parker towing is not nor ever been in the repair business. if **** offered repair service that is (best auto) in Quartzsite AZ that is between you and the repair shop (best auto)  the closest repair shop. this is exactly why we are not in the repair business. you could have all the good attentions and with the newer vehicles it hard to pin point the exact problem. once again, with  (no charge). it must sound like i am defending **** (best auto) but really i have nothing to do with the repairs. parker towing towed the vehicle as quoted. we do not reinstall driveline. in most cases truck driveline manufactures require the bolts and straps to be replaced with an install and torqued by a professional machinic. maybe not with something as small as this motor home but that is why compony policy is that we do not reinstall drivelines. the last person installing that driveline is responsible for it for ever. besides at $250 per hour it is much cheaper to have it done at the by a professional machinic with a guarantee. if you have a problem with best auto call them. **************

once again I was told by best auto that the tow truck driver was an employee of the best auto an that they was not able to diagnose the issue with my motor home so why was I told it was a defective ECM and had to be towed to ********* **** which they have confirmed that the tow truck driver informed to them that is was towed to them because it was a defective ECM. This issue is simply a fraudulent case and should be handled as such

My off road side by side was stuck on a steep trail less than a mile off a main road. I called Parker towing because their website says they do 4x4 off road recovery. They came to the cite and never made it to the vehicle. They didnt even walk down to see the vehicle but charged me $2065. The driver suggested that I just leave the $25,000 vehicle there as it would cost more than its worth to recover it. I had it recovered the next day by a service that works for donations.
