Ive been bringing my cats to Vistancia Animal Hospital for years. One of my cats started having health issues. They constantly tried up selling me services that she didnt need. And charging me extra for appointments claiming they were busy when they werent. This last time I was in my cat was diagnosed with kidney issues. They knew at the time how serious it was and they FAILED to arrange the necessary hospice care. This was over a holiday weekend. I had to sit and watch my cat slowly suffocate and die in my arms. This could have been prevented. My cat should have been allowed to die with dignity and mercy. I will have to live the rest of my life with the trauma of seeing my cat that I loved die a slow and painful death. These people knew what was going to happen and did nothing to stop it. I tried calling to have her put down and they told me all their providers left. I hung up to care for my cat. She died in my arms in excruciating pain. This should have NEVER happened. The vet knew she was close to death but continued to prescribe medication that wasnt needed to boost business profits. My sister teaches at a *********** She informed me that everything about the treatment of my cat was WRONG. They put money before the lives of the animals theyre paid to treat and CARE for. I will never get over this cruelty. This place needs to be shut down and I will do my best to make it happen. This was blatant malpractice.
