On 7/25 11:39am I went to Valvoline *********** Change at ****************************************************. Today 10/3 I had to take my vehicle to another garage for over heating problem. I am retired and drive my vehicle maybe once a week to the grocery store or post office which is less the 5 miles from my home. This past Saturday (10/1) I did a road trip to ********, ** which is **** miles with a small incline and my vehicle over heated. Now I know it is hard to prove but talking with the garage I had to take it to they expressed they discovered that the radiator cap may not have been installed correctly from the amount of coolant residue around the coolant reservoir. I discussed this with the assistant manager (*******) at Valvoline and he checked his cameras of course came back to me with the tech put cap back on however my question is was it tight and correctly done. His response was it would be hard to prove rather it was correct or not. He also expressed the tech that worked on my car was no longer with them. He was polite about it but I feel Valvoline should compensate me for my garage charges of $347.51. I had to have ********************** and another Oil Change due to the over heating. The hood of my vehicle was not raised once Valvoline lowered it on 7/25 which tells me the cap was not put back on correctly. Thank you and hope Valvoline can make this right.Customer response

I would like to seek a refund of the $135 from Valvoline for service that was not done correctly causing my vehicle to overheat.
