Please refer to uploaded documents. We have an active roofing warranty with this company (see attached photo). We discovered a few leaks in our roof on August 1st following a very heavy storm. ***********************, the owner of Diamond Roofing company, sent two workers to review our roof that same day. They reported repairing a leaking skylight and a broken tile. The following day, August 2nd, I noticed an area of water damage (which I had not observed previously), of approximately 2-3 foot in length on a ceiling beam, where paint/plaster had pulled away from the beam and was cracking. I immediately contacted *****, who informed me he would send someone the following week (refer to uploads of email 8/22 for timeline). He never did so. I contacted him again on August 22nd, in which he exhibited several tactics to avoid inspecting the leak, ranging from stating it already been inspected by his workers (it had not, as we identified it on August 2nd), denying he had been informed of the issue (I have text/telephone records), that he had lost his phone, that he was too busy to come out, etc. At the end of a contentious phone call, ***** requested I email all information to him (which I did immediately after the call), and he verbally stated he would be out to inspect the area on the roof by September 2nd. He never did so, nor did he respond to my email. The area inside our home has worsened with recent rains. This evening, I informed ***** by text and email that I would be reporting his business to the BBB for violation of our roof warranty (i.e. refusal to inspect an active leak). I had previously informed him I would take action (per email Aug. 22nd), should he not come for the inspection he stated he would perform by September 2nd. In the interim, we have had inspections performed by 3 different companies, each stating there is a different issue with the roof. One inspection stated issues with the foam coating of our roof, which is under warranty until ****.
