I originally purchased the Watts Premier Reverse Osmosis (RO) filtration system as a birthday gift for my sister as of 09/22/2020. While under warranty we unfortunately hired the same plumber three times and he spoke with tech support regarding our issues. 1st issue; the membrane was broke, so we replaced this part and the (system still did not work properly). 2nd issue; the system would constantly make loud noises due to the pressure from the defected tank (tech discovered the problem). 3rd issue; we lost a lot of water from a water shutoff valve that was broken on the system. Through out the course of a year I called in along with the plumber and received new parts and nothing would resolve the defected system. My sister finally decided along with the plumber to pull the plug and they removed the entire system. So, I finally called Watts and received a return label to return the system back along with a letter with all my cost out of pocket and a list of details regarding the trouble and issues. However, Watts would not reimburse for the system and instead returned the system back to my address without a phone call or a letter to explain why it was returned (No response/ No letter or correspondence). So, I immediately called when I received the system back and they said this was explained to me over the phone about the returned item. However, I dealt with ************************* who said; he would check with management to see about the reimbursement and I never heard from him again. My family owns a rehab high end equipment for people with disabilities and we stand behind our equipment and reimbursement if the patient is not happy with their equipment. I'm sending this complaint because Watts is a large profitable business with horrible customer service, products and more..... I'm extremely disappointed and want this to be brought to Watts Corp Headquarters as a formal complaint. FYI; Watts has all the recorded calls, logs and reports under my name and phone number.
