Three years ago, I hired ********************** Heating and Cooling to replace the **** system in my small, 2 story commercial building in ******************. The contract price for the job was ~$195,000. Since the time it was installed, 1/2 of the equipment serving an entire floor of my building has not worked properly. For the first 1 1/2 years, **** ********************** attempted to fix the problems. Much of the time he blamed the issues on the tenants, not on the equipment. I finally gave up on ***** I felt like I was not getting truthful answers from him, and he was alienating and insulting many of my tenants. For the past 1 1/2 years I have had 3 different **** companies, as well as the input from the ******* Factory (the manufacturer of the equipment), tell me the equipment installed was not proper for the application in my building. I have spent an additional $18,000 attempting to get the system **** installed working properly, to no avail. Each of the technicians has given up, saying the problems we are having with the system is impossible to fix. We are now removing half of the equipment **** installed, and having the proper equipment, recommended by *******, installed for a price of $85,000. I have spoken with **** several times about this problem, and he has never taken personal responsibility for the situation. It is always the fault of someone else. I am not happy with ********************** Heating and Cooling!
