I applied for these Apts in late May. I paid $453.00 om June 28, 2023 for deposit and Application fees.I paid this Electronically by my ************ ****. After they received my money they informed me that I was not qualified! I was then told that I would receive my refund via paper check by mail and I asked why can't they just send it back Electronically? They gave numerous excuses and since July 21st they have yet to refund my Depost! I've left numerous messages and several emails! After reading the reviews on line, I'm not the Only One being SCAMMED by this Company! I would like Assistance in receiving my Deposit money back and this Company should be Investigated!! Seriously this is not a way to run a Business and take peoples money and not respond in a timely manner.Business response

This business has been holding peoples money. After applying and getting denied, they have been holding $300 for about 2 months. This seems to be an occurring issue with this business as seen on the ****** review page. This company is an affordable income housing facility yet they are comfortable holding large amounts of money from people. This company needs to be flagged and something needs to change.Business response

Please be advised that ************************* and her roommate *********************** summitted their application to live at Vista Ridge Apartments and unfortunately their application was denied.
No refund is due back to them as the funds used to hold the apartment were returned to Vista Ridge by the bank.
Vista Ridge shows a balance due from them in the amount of $130.00 to cover the *** fee and the two application fee of $50 per person.
Please remove this Complaint # ******** from Vista Ridge Apartments.
