On Jan 17th 2022, the plant stand had a gold ticket event. This event was targeted at social media with little to no details. Other than buy a $5 ticket and you will get access to limited amounts of specialty household plants. Details other than that were lacking, and there were no terms on conditions assigned to this event. There was then a subsequent post on social media about the event to get there at 10:30 and dont be late. There however were several issues with the event. People that got a ticket were asked to check in prior to the event. This meant each person physically went to someone and signed in. Being this was done in a raffle style it meant 10 people were called at a time to come forward and buy plants. The time of the event didnt matter as it kicked off over an hour late. Waiting for people who were late to sign in. Once there was ************************* the event kicked off. Right from the start names were being called of people who were not at the event. This means the check in people did not have their names put into the raffle. Where the list of names came from is unclear. This also makes it unclear as to if my name was even in the raffle in the first place.The next issue arises in the fact people that were called 10 at a time were buying multiple plants. In some cases 6 plants each. People were also buying plants for other people that were not called in attendance, walking back to that person verifying the plant they wanted and then holding it for them and paying. As a result of this anyone who did not have their name called had very few plants to pick from at the end. After most of the plants were gone, everyone was allowed in, including people that did not have a ticket for the event (no one checked). To make it fair for people that paid to have a ticket to this event people should have had a limit on the number of plants they could buy.Ran out of space, see attached DOCX.
