I had my transmission rebuilt by these guys on 12/09/2022. Approximately 2 weeks later, less than 500 miles, I experienced more issues which required another payment; a total of **** dollars was spent. I was told by ***********************, at AAMCO, I was 1 of 5 people in the *********** **** is giving me new parts since they are discontinuing old parts. I contacted **** and they denied any such information. I was informed ***** owned Super Discount Transmission in Avondale, recently forced to close, due to selling/buying/installing bad parts. I believe this is happening and I was wrongfully charged. I would like an investigation to be initiated with this location. I do not trust their word and now will be seeking alternative opinions and options.

I took a 2001 Dodge Dakota to these people because the A/C had stopped blowing cold. I thought there was a leak in the system. The tech that serviced my truck did a bunch of work that was totally unnecessary. He vacuumed the system, loaded dye into it, and recharged the unit. Which was not needed. I took the truck to a real A/C tech, who spent 10 minutes with the truck and then told me that the blower motor was trashed. If the AAMCO tech had half a brain he would have found the problem and scheduled repairs that day. He was too busy trying to make money for the company to be honest with me. I spent $326.06 to have repairs made that were not needed. And it cost me a further $450 to fix the actual problem. When I went back to AAMCO the manager gave me some kind of stupid answer, basically telling me that they could do whatever they wanted. And they had also changed the manager, is this standard operating procedure with AAMCO? Run a bunch of scams then move the manager to a new location to do it again. I lost several days work messing with these people trying to get my truck fixed, not counting the money I lost for unneeded work.
