  On December 12th, 2023, I asked for the help of a family member to help bail my partner out of county jail. Unfortunately he didnt realize that the process was different when paying the bond in cash compared to using a bails bond man. We paid 100% of the bond set to release my partner which was $1800 in cash. When I noticed that my family member went to a bails bond man for help I quickly tried to rectify the situation as their services werent needed. My plan was to get the cash that I paid in full back and pay the sheriffs county directly, cutting out the middle man. Unfortunately, since I was at work and not able to attend myself, my family member not knowing any better went to bail bonds USA and they took advantage of the situation. They exhibited extremely predatory practices and refused to refund my $1800 as they had already posted the bond in surety. I called the ************************** and they said that this meant that Bail Bonds USA paid the bond in paper. They didnt pay the bond in cash even though we provided the full bond amount, instead they purchased a surety bond and pocketed the rest of the cash I paid. I reached out to bails bonds *** and they refuse to rectify the situation. Im appalled by the predatory practices of bail bonds USA by not notifying us that their services werent needed with the full intent of pocketing the cash. Any ethical business wouldve been transparent that their services werent needed since the amount was being paid in full and a bails bond man is only needed when the bond cannot be paid in full. I dont believe my best interest was taken into consideration and they are not being reasonable or willing to work it out. Please help us find a resolution as soon as possible.   Recently a friend of mine got into trouble and needed bonded out of jail. I put up $2,500 my own cash money... and another friend of hers put up the deed to his property to secure the bond and another friend put up the remaining cash needed. I never agreed.. signed nor was it ever mentioned my property being used for anything with these people. At the time of the bond I didn't even own my property. a A week ago I got a piece of paper in the mail stating I had an outstanding balance secured by a deed of trust on my property. I never put up my property for anything. These people are trying to take my home.. please help!! Everywhere I read this is illegal in *******. Please help me as I'm a retired vet and have limited income and can't hire a lawyer.Sincerely,*****************************

  On 4/5 I paid Bail Bonds USA $800 to go to the *********** in ******* to post a bond for my son. On 4/6 I was informed by *********** that they never went and paid the bond. When I called on 4/6 to find out why and where my money was I was treated completely disrespectfully, yelled at, talked over, called dumb, and threatened by the bondsman, who would not provide his name to me, that he was going to call the judge and black ball my son and have his bond increased (his words). I paid for a service that was never provided and was treated with such disrespect when I questioned why they did not perform the service I paid for.
