Formal Complaint Against MOSQUEDA Renovations LLC I am filing a formal complaint against MOSQUEDA Renovations, owned by Oscar *********************** due to substandard work and unprofessional conduct following a $38,191.37. home renovation project. Key issues include:1. **Faulty Installations**: Installed lighting fixtures malfunctioned and broke shortly after installation. The tile work is uneven, particularly on the front patio, causing water retention.2. **Incomplete and Poor Workmanship**: The painting job remains unfinished, and the flooring in the master bedroom was improperly installed without adequate underlayment, resulting in lifting and cracking.3. **Unauthorized Changes and Safety Concerns**: Changes were made without our consent, such as replacing tinted windows in our shower area. Additionally, the master bathtub outlet was installed without a required GFCI, posing a safety hazard.4. **Lack of Accountability and Poor Communication**: Communication with ***** and his team has been poor, with frequent no-call, no-show incidents. Despite acknowledging the issues via text, there has been no effort made to rectify the situation satisfactorily.5. **Unprofessional Behavior**: On the last day ***** was permitted into our home, he arrived without tools, merely to look around, demonstrating a lack of seriousness about correcting the defects.The ************* of Registrars inspection has validated these deficiencies. Despite allowing MOSQUEDA Renovations multiple opportunities to correct their failures, they have demonstrated an inability to fulfill their obligations. We have documented evidence, including inspection reports and photographs, which we are prepared to provide.We demand a thorough investigation into these matters by the Better Business Bureau and seek a resolution that includes a refund or adequate compensation for the damages incurred.I paid for a 3rd party flooring inspection, recent quotes for repairing everything, and photos of you would like.
