  Wow, all I can say is wow. This company has gone above and beyond all my expectations. My husband and I have a vacation property in **********, ** and the roof was damaged in a storm a while back. We had no idea how bad the damage was until the wonderful ***** at United Contracting Group knocked on our door. He was kind and patient and showed us pictures and videos of the damage the storm caused. He was pretty sure he could have a new roof covered by our homeowners insurance but we had to think about it and do a little research on our end. There are so many scams out there and being of an advanced age, we didn't want to be one of those poor unfortunate souls you hear about! We lookedd into it and found that it pretty normal to have insurance cover storm damage, I had no Idea. ****** did my husband. ******, We called ***** back and he walked us through the entire process, and was completely trust worthy and communicative the entire time. I can't speak for everyone but I know that we couldn't be happier. Our new roof is much nicer than so much more charing than the one it replaced! I would recommend ***** and United Contracting Group to everyone! They are real sweethearts over there! God Bless!

  This company has been a nightmare for me. The lack of communication, No follow up. I used them as a contractor because of hailstorm damage. I thought it would be easier to work thru one company rather than multiple trades (roofers, painters, gutters etc) Roofers must have thought I would never get on my roof to inspect the work done (I am 66 year old female), there were nails galore still sitting on my roof, they didn't trim the shingles around the penetrations, they left old damage penetrations on my roof, they didn't silicone nails, they missed areas of shingles, and they were to paint the penetrations which they never did. I had to. I had contracted with a solar tube company to install solar tubes so the roofers would not touch them-well they did remove them and damage the interior drywall and bent the metal trim ring around the interior solar tube. Cost me $189.00 to get the repairs. The gutters were not correct in one area when it rained it pour directly off my roof onto the driveway, splashing everywhere. I ended up contact the *** because I could not get them to contact me. Then they made it sound like I was really important to them in front of the ***, but then they never followed up with me until the *** emailed them every step of the way. I still can not get them to answer my emails. I am considering hiring an attorney to *** them, I would NOT recommend them.

  My project included scarify/recoat of my flat foam roof, replacing the underlayment and relaying existing tiles. Since a dumpster was already going to be placed for the project, I also asked if a non functioning swamp cooler could be removed from the roof, which the team did successfully and repaired the hole it created from the removal. Several issues with the quality of work and lack of response from the project manager motivated me to write a ****** review which finally gained the attention of the company (I guess my small project of $16k wasn't enough to gain their attention). The scarifying/recoat to prevent stagnant water present 3 days after rainfall, was never successful with traditional flat foam roof techniques as originally hired for. After 4 months of attempted rework, the solution was to apply a silicone coating to prevent leaks that *** occur from areas where water was continuing to pool. The tile roofing design was changed without my approval and I was later told this was the best they could do (cement caps at the bottom of the hip ridge line which also required rework to correct off centered placement of the last tile run). During the 7 months of the project, 4 project managers supporting the rework commented the ridge cap was poorly done. Ultimately, the tiled portion of the roof was significantly improved and I am happy with the way it looks and functions. My HOA requires a fence surrounding the **** unit, which was accidentally thrown away during the repairs, but ultimately replaced by United during the rework visits. After the roof work was finished, my **** unit stopped functioning due to several control wires crushed after the **** unit was moved during the roofing repairs. I'm officially tired of United, so I'll eat the repair cost so as not to deal with them any more. I would not recommend United Contracting for flat or tiled roofs.

  Our roof had wind damage and I got quotes from 3 recommended roofing companies. I narrowed my choice down to 2 companies and I ended up selecting UCG. They did a fantastic job on our repairing our roof. The superior quality of their work was validated when it rained the week after. I ended up getting rid of the drip buckets since they were no longer needed. I also wanted to give a kudos to the Project Managers - ******************************* and *************************. They were the deciding factor in why I picked UCG. Their professionalism, attention to detail, empathy to my concerns and outstanding work ethic stood out throughout the whole process, from the initial quote, project implementation and down to the ending of project. Another thing I would like to highlight was the tremendous help that ****** and ******* provided in helping me negotiate the damage claim with the ****************** I decided to trust them during this process and my trust was well placed when I authorized them to engage with the ***************** directly on my behalf regarding my damage claim and they eliminated a lot of bureaucratic red tape that every homeowner goes thru when they file an insurance claim. ****** and ******* were very responsive and went thru the tedious task of going thru their quotes line by line with the field adjuster and submitting the necessary supplements so we can get best dollar amount for the repairs needed. The insurance company ended up paying more than their original payment estimate. I would say to any potential customers looking to get their roof repaired or anything roof related, pick United Contracting Group, they are an excellent customer centric roofing company and they deliver superior service. You will be glad you did and you will not be disappointed.

  United Contractors we're absolutely fantastic. I ran into some issues with a previous contractor and they worked with me to make sure my roof was safe for my family.An issue occured after installation. I let them know immediately and they took no time to come back out to make sure it was corrected. I am beyond happy with the level of service and quick turn around

  A neighbor of mine had a new roof installed after storm damaged it. I wanted to do the free inspection with United. I had no idea that my homeowners insurance would cover the entire replacement of ******* and all I paid was my deductible! I would absolutely recommend this company. Ask for ****. He helped from start to finish and I'm so happy i chose this company. Thank you United Contracting Group!
