Nightmare experience!!! Posting this as a warning to the public. I could write a novel, but will keep it short. My experience started with a botched pre-purchase inspection which was followed by 3 years of repairs/restoration that I did not sign up for! Seemed like every few weeks I was told next week it will be ready. Then once in a while ********************* would say it was ready, I'd go to pick it up and have to leave it there or send it back for it to get done correctly or to take care of overlooked items. Each time I did this, it was many more months to re-repair it. Several times, there was damage to the new paint that he claimed he did not see. There were so many serious oversights to his work that *** should not be allowed to go near any vehicle (too bad the state doesn't require a license). Examples include: engine timing was permanently set at 2 degrees when it should have been far higher (the distributer was smashed against the new firewall and could not be adjusted), the starter was installed so loose the car stopped starting, headers were installed smashed against a spark plug causing it to misfire, brakes were leaking, wrong size alternator, his transmission subcontractor (********************* at Pro Shift) did not honor his warranty on a new transmission... I could go on and on! Seems like everything was done incorrectly and I'm now paying thousands of dollars to have it all re-done with a real mechanic. I could have sent it back, but after 3 years of *** being unable to get it right, I am done! A very hard ****** learned!
