On March 5, 2021 my child had a dental procedure at Desert Ridge Pediatric Dentistry. Prior to the procedure we were given a cost estimate and discussed our financial responsibility with Yari (as written on estimate). I specifically asked the potential over under of the estimate and was misinformed. I was directly told that the only potential fluctuation was +/- $100 for the anesthesiologist. This led me to believe that they had a pre authorization from my insurance company, which was not the case. Since the dental work has been completed and the claim was denied, they deemed patient financially responsible. I disagree with this due to the misrepresentation of financial cost. I did not agree to this price for the services rendered. This was not a last minute procedure. The dental office had ample time to request a pre authorization. Also, I would have happily contacted my insurance prior had I been given accurate info and not been misled. Ultimately, Desert Ridge Pediatric Dentistry is responsible for their employees and the info they provide to their customers. I feel they should be held accountable for their own misrepresentation. Including the $923.20 estimate overage.Initial Complaint

Dental appointment for my child scheduled for Monday 10/11. I called and cancelled Friday 10/8. This was cancelled within 24 hours prior to scheduled service. The dental office collected $150.00 when the appointment was made and the money has not been returned to my credit card. I need assistance in being issued a deposit refund. This is borderline theft.
