    This complaint is regarding order number ***** placed with Theraspecs company in ******* *******. The company offers eyeglasses with a special filter that blocks harmful wavelengths for people who are oversensitive to fluorescent and LED lighting. They sell their sunglasses with the tint, and also will make prescription lenses in their frames, or you can send your own frames in to have prescriptions lenses fitted, which was what I did. I placed my order on April 23rd 2023 and sent in a pair of my old frames along with payment of ******. The website states that custom orders take about 3 to 4 weeks to complete. Heard nothing for 6 weeks until I contacted them and they told me that they had broken my frames and told me I could pick from one of their frames or send in another pair of mine. I asked if they would compensate me for the frames they broke, and they said no because they were 'too old'. I sent another pair of my frames, paying the shipping, and after 5 weeks finally received them back in the mail. The tint was great, but the prescription was all wrong. I sent them back, paying the shipping, and waited another 5 to 6 weeks for them to remake the lenses. Lenses. They sent back the exact same lenses as the first time. I don't believe they were remade, even. Finally, they told me they need additional information besides the prescription like pupil distance and segment height. I did not know this so I found out the information and provided it. It has been another 6 weeks and now a total of 6 MONTHS since the beginning of the order. I have contacted them again, and they told me there was a mix-up at their end and the order had just been sent to the lab again. I told them I do not want to wait another 6 weeks from now and that I do not want the glasses any longer, I want a complete refund immediately and my frames and lenses returned to me. They either can't or won't complete this order, although paid 6 months ago.
