My brother passed away June21st. Eastlake was pd in full 22nd, plus ***** extra for 3 death certificates. 23rd received paperwork to fill out. Called them to see when they needed this. Was told by Monay24th. Filled out and faxed June 23rd, and have proof they DID receive. Was also told DR had 72 hours to fill out death cert.,and should be about 5days or so. Did not hear anything from them so I called following week, 29th, and spoke to ***************************, office mang. Asked about my brother, was he ready to be picked up? She responded, ohhhh I was gonna call you.. Who was his dr??? I was like WHAT?? the nursing home has that info, and thought they had 72 hours to do this..(After this upsetting call, I called the nursing home and they said all info. was sent with his body.) told her this is completetly unacceptable.. Called next day to an arrogant, ******************, saying my name and who I was calling about, and got the snooty, who is this again??? who you calling about?? ( Thinking OMG how many people to they do this to). She still didnt have death cert. I reached out to ******************************* from Maricopa county, told her what was going on, she called, 5 minutes later she had it. Then *************** said never for my paperwork, which is a lie and i have proof, but sent to ******* and she sent again. Finally after 16 DAYS.. 16 DAYS.. he was cremated. JULY 7th, my ************* wife called to pickup brothers ashes and cert. on sat july8th, before 9am. They got there picked up ashes with NO certificates. (they drive 2 1/2 hours one way). July 10th, called 2 times told cert would be there by 10, they called again said 12, so he was there at 1pm and they were NOT. He went to vital statistics himself and had to pay again to get. 16 days unacceptable!!!! **** dropped the ball and were unorganized and rude to deal with. Its hard enough losing my bro, but to go threw this in WRONG!! I dont even know how they're in business treating grieving family like this.evey call on hold 10to 15 min
