I reached out to **** to give me an estimate for gates all over my home. He came out to my house and give me an estimate that came out to $4,000. He said if we wanted to move forward, we would have to give 50% up front so we did. He then came back 2 weeks later to install the two smaller gates and asked for another $800 and then $400. I have been reaching out to him for almost a year now to either come finish the work or either refund me the $1,600 he owes me. He keeps making excuses and just never pays me back or comes out to finish the work. Since this incident I have already hired someone else to finish the other gates for me. I want my money back. On 5/3/22 GCL Gate repair came to my home and provided me a quote for a new gate. I agreed on the price and provided a 50% deposit of $583.19 paid via my **************** Card. The gate was to be installed in 2-3 weeks.I have this all documented in text messages I can provide but to summarize- I was scheduled on 3 separate dates to have the gate installed. On each of those days I was contacted with excuses on why they would not be showing up. They were a combination of personal excuses as well as issues with the gate. The messages were very contradictory at some points stating the gate was finished and then days later they would ask me for paint colors and details that led me to believe the gate had actually not been made at all.On 6/10/22 the business agreed in writing to a refund of my deposit and admitted wrong doing. After not receiving the credit on my **************** I reached back out to the business on 6/23, 6/27, 7/1, 7/2 and 7/7. They have stopped responding to my calls, texts and emails.I attempted to get the charge reversed on my **************** card however because GCL used PayPal as their payment processor they told me I needed to get refunded through PayPal. PayPal indicated since this was done through merchant account and not an individual PayPal account that their purchase protection is not extended in that situation. So I have PayPal and **************** pointing fingers at one another and I am still out $518.00Initial Complaint

I purchased a new metal gate from this company and it was painted with the wrong paint. The first time it rained, much of the paint peeled off, exposing metal. The gate is now rusting. The company has continually ignored my calls and texts and voicemail is not set up. All I wanted was for ****** to temporarily replace my gate while I pay for powder coating for this gate, then put the powder coated gate back on. I can't get ****** to honor the one year warranty he says he offers. Very disappointing.
