I found the Winchester Gun Store from a ****** search.On December 23, 2023 I received an order confirmation from the Winchester Gun Store. The total price was $1,319.00. I had to pay using Zelle. $1,000.00 is my daily limit. So I sent $1,000.00 on 12/23/2023 and $319.00 on 12/24/2023. The person I supposedly was communicating with was a *******************************. On 12/27/2023 ******************************* informed me that it would ship out on 12/28/2023. On 01/03/2024 ******* informed me that I would receive a tracking number shortly. On 01/23/2023 I informed the Winchester Gun Store to cancel my order and refund my money since not information was being provided about the order or if it had shipped. On 01/16/2024 the Winchester Gun Store said they would refund the money and I asked them how it would happen. Nothing happened or was another reply given until 01/23/2024 when someone in the Winchester Gun Store said they were trying to get in touch with *******. Nothing else has happened. No communication and no money refunded. I have an email string that goes from the beginning to end. I have part of it in a PDF document attached below.Initial Complaint

Bought a rifle for $330 the website said theres a 15% discount for Bitcoin so obviously I did that. This happened 11/17 havent gotten any answer back so I look at the reviews and see everyone saying the same thing. Thats just greatInitial Complaint

I was on this website and paid $959 for a rifle and found absolutely no number no way to contact them other than email which was NEVER answered. I hopefully cough it quick enough to get my money back. ***** is a bad pay app yes I know I should have done my research before sending my money but with the name Winchester I thought all was good. I have read 5 bad reviews about this site and ***** needs to know the scammers are using their site. This all happened on February 25 2023 I feel like an idiot for trusting the name. WHAT A SCAM SITE!!!!!!Initial Complaint

I found a rifle on their website and paid for it on April 26, 2022. It was a Zelle transfer done through my **** of America app on my phone. Zelle said it could take up to 5 business days for it to go through. I asked them on day 5 and they said they haven't received it. Day 6 I told them that according to BoA it has gone through and asked them for the next step. They did not respond back and now it's day 7. I have now gone and done some research and found this is a common theme for this website.I just want my rifle drlivered or my money back.Attached are screenshots of our emails. I couldn't figure out how to attach it as one image. But ALL of our communication has been via email.Let me know what else you need to know.Initial Complaint

The Winchester Gun Store has multiple listing for guns and accessories. I attempted to order a rifle. They told me to pay through *****. They asked for a partial payment through ***** and I payed. When I went to pay the rest it was a different email address and I was worried so I requested a cancelation and a refund. They stopped contacting me and I haven't gotten a refund.Initial Complaint

I placed an order with this online seller, Winchester Gun Store who only accepts Peer to Peer **************** currency using at his request **************** transaction through ****** so that he wouldn't be charged a fee for the transaction on 12/29/21 for a Winchester **** rifle. Because the amount exceeded $500 I had to send money directly from my checking account (no card transaction). After sending money I e-mailed to ask about order processing and delivery time line and noticed he wasn't responding, business does not have a phone number listed or provided so cannot contact directly. I saw a review of the business that said the business owner stopped communicating with customer after receiving payment and item was never delivered. Once I saw that I sent owner an e-mail on 12/30/21 requesting to cancel my order and get a refund and sent him a message through ****** as well. He responded on 12/30/21 that he received my request and that he would refund the payment the next day but gave an excuse that his "account" had reached a limit (wasn't specific as to what account he was talking about) and that he would "forward me when it was off limit" with no anticipated date. I sent him a ****** request for payment on 1/2/22 and follow up e-mail to notify him I still had not received refund. Have not heard back from him and am worried he does not plan on refunding me which would be a crime. Since Friends and Family transaction was used, ****** cannot refund money themselves as the transaction is not covered under Purchase Protection Guarantee and I cannot cancel charge because it came directly out of checking account. ****** transaction #*****************, amount $1,079, transaction date 12/29/21. I just want refund and hope his website can be flagged as it may be a scam as the price of the item is exact amount on *********** ******* website and they are out of stock.Initial Complaint

I placed an order on WinchesterGunStore.com on Friday, November 26, 2021 for $449.00 for a Bolt-Action Rifle with Scope. After placing the order, I was notified that they would be sending an email for payment through Zelle. On Saturday, November 27, 2021 I sent the payment as instructed to the email provided by the website. Since Saturday, I have attempted contact four times with no response. There is no telephone number to contact. I believe I have been scammed and would like my money back. I also hope that this helps someone else to not fall for this. See attached for all documentation showing their acknowledgement of the order and promise to fulfill said order upon payment.
