So I just want to start off by saying that there is a lot that I could say about my experience at this salon/ marijuana lounge but it wont all fit in this space so heres the gist of it, so I had my appt scheduled for Friday at 10 but then about an hour before I get a text from Sesily ******* asking me if I could come in around 11 or 12 bc something came up with her kid so me being a mom I totally understood and said that was fine so I rearranged my day to work around hers and end up going in at 11:30 she started to work on my hair at 11:40, the hair that I went in with was a dark blue that Ive had for 4yrs and the plan was to go from that to a bright pink and I was also supposed to have extensions dyed and installed for a price of $385 w 15% off for booking w her on Styleseat WHICH NEVER HAPPENED! but since I hadnt received my extensions yet I couldnt do them so as Im sitting in the chair after the color remover that she put in my hair did absolutely nothing to it she says ok maybe its bc it was wet, let me try the color remover on a strand of dry hair so that way we dont have to damage all of ur hair, I say ok so then she does it and its non effective again on the dry strand so then thats when the plan gets changed from going hot pink to going a bright blue green color which I was fine with bc I myself didnt expect my hair to go from 4yrs of blue to hot pink in a matter of hours. So after we determine the pink is not going to happen she starts to apply bleach to my roots then as she was doing my hair she stopped and went and locked the front door and blocked it so nobody could see inside the salon then she came back and lit up a joint and brought her marijuana wax out and in that moment I was thinkin cool a 420 friendly salon! Im a MMJ card holder so I said I have some joints on me too, so I light 2 up and we start passing them around then before I know it she pulled up a chair behind me and sits down to finish applying the bleach to my scalp, after some time all the bleach was finally applied then after that I began to just sit and wait for the bleach to do its thing but as Im sitting there I start to feel my head burn pretty intensely so then I remember she told me if it started to hurt to tell her and she could put something on me to help with the pain (Im not sensitive in anyway Ive bleached my roots 3 times a year for 4yrs so Im familiar with the bleach feeling) but this pain was intense so I let her know it was hurting she put something on it and it did take the edge off but was still very uncomfortable so after that I get up and go to the restroom (where the toilet doesnt flush) after coming back out she tells me that she adjusted the price on Styleseat from $385 to $245 bc we werent doing the extensions anymore and 15% off shouldve been included but it slipped my mind and she was not about to add it unfortunately so I say ok thank u then after that I sit back down and then about 2 hours later she says its time to wash out the bleach so as she starts shampooing my head I start to say ouch and start to flinch and pull away bc my head was so sensitive but I never knew what was really going on under the top front of my hair, so after the bleach is washed out she starts to apply the hair dye after the hair dye is on she goes out for her 4th cigarette, long story short she comes back in washes the dye out -another painful process she styles it I love the color and say thank u and she walks me out and I tell her Ill send her a tip rn, the next day Im still in pain but Im still thinking Im just still very sensitive then I get a message from her asking me for another $75 bc she forgot to add something but she didnt forget to add something from 11:30-7 oclock!? thats weird! So I say ok but can I have a price breakdown sheet please, she cant provide one and starts going psycho on me and tried to bully me out of another $75 when shes lucky I didnt just stop payment at the bank and request all of my money back for burning me and making me have bald spots in my hair! I pay my bills I just need to know what Im paying for a whole day later! Which any person in their right mind would want! So Sunday my husband finally looked in my scalp bc the pain was so intense and what do u know I had a BAD chemical burn and she blamed it on me! and still wanted $ from me! she really puts the meaning of HOT in Hot Headz! and in the most painful way possible! Shes so UNPROFESSIONAL and GHETTO shes just mad bc she went home and realized how long she had spent with me in the salon and thought she should get more money bc she had me there for 7 and a half hours but it was only that long bc she got high and got slow! Ive NEVER spent more than 4 hours in a salon EVER! I know shes a new business owner but this is just CRAZY! She turned the tables on me once I showed her what she did to me and tried to blame it on me and say that I robbed her for $75 but HOW IS THAT!? If she wouldve went over the price with me before I left yes I wouldve been shocked about her asking me for another $75 especially bc I was confused earlier why it was $245 when creative color which is what I had done is $180 and an extra $50 if more color is needed but last time I checked $180+$50 is $230 so why it was $245 I have no idea! and I wouldve definitely made sure my 15% off was included and wouldve asked for a price breakdown sheet and once I was comfortable with making sure I understood what I was paying for I wouldve ultimately paid her what the total was before ever walking out that door! But I guess this is what happens when u go to someone who is a new business owner and a scamming mentality. This is just my experience/my truth of what happened to me I know everyone has had and will have different experiences with her and hopefully yours is better but at the end of the day this is just my sad and horrible experience with Sesily ******* at Hot *********** where she puts the HOT in Hot Headz meaning shell burn ur scalp and try to scam and bully u out of money and also she keeps the salon super uncomfortably hot I dont know if to try to keep up with the theme of Hot *********** or shes just really trying to save money on her electricity **** which is insane in an ******* summer and unfair to her clients!
