Received offer to purchase 40+ acres of ******** farmland from *********************** from CRT Acres in *******, **. This appears to be a fraud/scam since the purchase agreement is not the standard purchase agreement form, as well as errors regarding the owners, legal description and land value. Someone not realizing these errors could potentially sign the document that could then be revised/altered to fit the fraud/scam to purchase land.I submitted a fraud/scam alert on BBB on 12/20/2021 and it was suggested by BBB to file a complaint. I have attached a copy of the proclaimed "purchase agreement" with the parcel ID, legal description, location of the parcel and owner's name blocked to mitigate any attempt to use of the document and to stop any further attempt at identity theft, as well as the letter from ***********************. This alleged "purchase agreement" shows the amount offered for the land, as well as the address, phone number and e-mail address associated with CRT Acres, but does not include the name *********************** as stated on the accompanying letter. I am willing to come directly to a BBB office in my area with the documentation. I am also willing to talk with any media who may be interested in order to make this fraud/scam known to the public. I am also filing possible fraud/scam complaints with the Attorney Generals of ********, Iowa and *******.

CRT Acres, ******* *************** ******* Acres or whatever other names they go by, they want to buy your land for a price obscenely below its market value. They prey on the ill informed and the desperate. Here is how their scam works. One week you will get a super low ball offer for your land. They might even try to tug at your heart strings by saying they are a family company. Next week you will get another offer from a different company located in a different city (although the format and envelop will be virtually identical). The offer will be for slightly more, maybe a thousand dollars. They will continue harassing you for months with their low ball offers. For me, the offer started at about ******, now they are up to ****** which is still considerably less than what I paid). It is obvious this is a concerted effort by one entity, so why all the different company names and locations? What are they hiding?
