      I have come across numerous negative reviews about One Guard Home Warranty. Nonetheless, I've been a satisfied customer of OG for the past six years. There have been complaints about the proficiency of their contractors or technicians who are contracted. I express my apologies to those customers who have received subpar **********************. However, I must emphasize that every contractor assigned to me has been highly competent, repairing my appliances and air conditioner with utmost care and expertise.About a year ago, my dryer started malfunctioning due to a faulty setting k*** OG promptly provided me with an appliance technician who assessed the issue. Unfortunately, my dryer was quite old and the required part was no longer available. In this situation, OG offered me a gift card to ****** to replace my dryer. They electronically sent me the ****** gift card within an hour, allowing me to effortlessly select a new dryer.More recently, my refrigerator has been giving me trouble. I've heard that ** refrigerators are prone to issues. The first two service requests, the technicians came and replaced the problematic components. However, I was advised, once one issue is resolved, another will arises until every part has been replaced. Presently, the defroster in my refrigerator has stopped functioning correctly. During the third visit, the technician suggested that continuing to repair the refrigerator would be fruitless and recommended a replacement. Wanting to support a local appliance store rather than ******, I contacted OG. They informed me that they would send a check by mail. Considering the reviews, I was concerned it might take a long time to receive the check. However, it arrived in just five business days, so I intend to visit my local appliance store to select a new refrigerator.I cannot vouch for the experiences shared in the other reviews, nor do I know why some customers are not receiving the same level of service. Nevertheless, I am highly satisfied with OG.

      This is the second year in a row we have had issues with our downstairs air conditioner, and the second year in a row that OneGuard has dragged their feet and made us sit in 100 degree temperatures for 10 days. I call every day for an update, and every day they tell me that youll receive resolution today. Someone will call you. And they dont. The contractor told us one thing, and we got emails from OG saying parts are being shipped, but no one has communicated what the repairs are, what the cost will be, and we havent given any approval for work to be done. It is immorally wrong and intolerable for them to be so irresponsible with customers when its this hot outside.

      Rude agents. Not US based and hard to understand. Had a contractor out today because our ac went out early yesterday morning. We live in ***** and its 100+ outside and even hotter inside now. Contractor says one thing, One Guard says another. I ask for info from contractor because theyre telling me one thing and one guard is saying another. OG is telling me they cant, give me that info, I need to get it from contractor. Contractor gives me the paper. It says something totally different. I tell OG what it says and OG says I need to send it to them, when asked where or how to send it to them they then tell me the contractor needs to send it to them. Literally going round and round! Im canceling them and telling everyone about this mess! If it truly is an issue on my end, Id accept it. But right now youre just telling me its denied for reasons you arent even proving to me! Im sitting in a house with kids, with temps over 100 degrees and everything is denied! And cant tell me why!!

      No stars if I could!!! Everytime we've needed assistance they've dropped the ball. Our dishwasher, leak in our garage, this time our A/C. 2 weeks with no air but 2 contractors have come out. We live in ARIZONA! It's been triple digits since May!!! One Guard is waiting on the purchasing department to get back to them and then they'll pass along the information to the contractors BUT they're going to be closed for the holiday (7/4) . So we can suffer some more from the heat and worry our dogs are going to overheat but you go ahead and enjoy your Fourth of July One Guard!!!!! Horrible horrible horrible service!!!! If you can, pick a different home insurance company! I forgot to mention when they had their contractors come out for our dishwasher 2 different people because they don't seem to get things done right the fist time, when the dishwasher was "fixed" our garbage disposal stopped working. Then when their contractors "fixed our leak" the master bathroom right sink and our kitchen sink water pressure is messed up. When we called about it, the contractors blamed each other. ******* said it was fine when they left, and the drywall contractors said it wasn't them. One Guard says sorry can't help you! If we want them to send someone out pay the $75 fee... horrible horrible service and from these reviews horrible horrible company. Garbage disposal is still messed up. We did pay the $75 to have it fixed. It worked for a bit went out again, contractor says we need a brand new garbage disposal. Smh!!!

      Rude agents that are not US based and do not care the slightest about customer **********************. Most ********************** calls end up with an "up charge" of items needed that are not covered. Be prepared to spend money out of pocket!

      Called today to cancel and keep getting transferred. Once someone answers the call drops.Absolutely ridiculous having to get transferred multiple times just to cancel service.By the way....I'm still on hold for the 10th time..

      Ive been trying to get a cash out from One Guard now for over two weeks every time I call they say they need something from the contractor its different every time it was they needed a breakdown for What the repair would cost and they wont pay for that because they already repair it once so I decided to go with a new one because the unit is old every time I get something different today I called. Its now 24th of June and now they say they want a breakdown of what its gonna cost for the new unit supposedly they called the contractor and they said the contractor refused to give them a breakdown so I called the contractor and they said they would look into it I dont think theyre calling the contractor. I think they just trying to put me off. Ive been customer One God for 16 years, never had this problem until they changed over to a different company and now it seems like everythings out of the country. You get a different person you cant talk to anybody that knows anything. Im getting To the point of canceling finding a new warranty company

      Our AC went out. It's the end of June in *******, **. The contractor said it would be four days before someone could come out. It was 117 outside and 90 degrees in our home. OneGuard is refusing to reimburse any amount of a hotel stay. Staying here is making us sick, but 117 degrees isn't hot enough for them.

      Called for service for our pool heater in March 15 2024. Pool tech suggested it was a part he had to order and install, fine. That didn't work. The tech suggested the heater would need to be replaced and he would let One Guard know. So then I'm expecting a cash out offer from them. No word from One Guard, I hear NOTHING. I called 04/15 and was told it had to go to Purchasing and Authorizations. Called again 04/25, this time they said I would be getting a cash out offer of $915 as the service call would be deducted from the $1000 limit. I questioned that but whatever. Didn't hear or receive anything, even though each time I called the person suggested they would personally follow up, so I called again. 05/03 called again, got the same story that a check for $915 was coming my way. 05/29, another call as I still had not received or heard back, again even though the person said they would personally call me back, I was told the check for $915 was actually going to be cut on 06/04/2024, great! Not great...called again 06/17 THIS time they said they check and offer is now only $585.62 due to the part (that didn't work) being deducted from the $1000 limit. I'm not unreasonable but what doesn't sit well with me is that NO ONE gave me an option to refuse the original part and receive the full amount allotted. One Guard did what was best for them, trying the cheaper option first, not what was best for the customer. We've been with One ********************** a total of 15 years. Up until last year, they've been responsive and reliable. Now it's headache after headache. You cannot call anyone directly to complain. Their customer ********************** has been outsourced to another country. You ask to escalate and someone calls you back but is that really a Supervisor? No idea. The just reiterate what the Rep said...nothing different. I feel RIPPED OFF and DISSAPPOINTED beyond words and they don't seem to care. I expressed that and no one has followed up. #ValuedCustomerof15Years

      My AC went out the end of April. The contractor came out and determined the compressor was bad. It took One Guard 5 days to ship the "used" part. We were responsible for replacing the coolant, which was $1500. Not happy about it but fine, whatever. Fast forward 2 weeks later and the compressor broke again and that was 3 weeks ago. It is IMPOSSIBLE to make it past the fortress of polite customer ********************** reps from the *********** who can do nothing more than pass along a message. I heard from one of them that it is considered an emergency after it reaches 104, which it has been for the last week, but yet they could not explain what that means (is there compensation for a hotel stay, reimbursement for a window AC unit????) We broke a record today at 113 deg. You cannot talk to anyone who can escalate your claim or answer real questions about it like "Why do I have to pay for the Freon again when it your part should have a warranty that covers it". They seem to never put the notes in from your previous call so I have to explain the situation every time (I call every day, sometimes more than once). I have been a customer for almost 20 years and I am disgusted with their lack of care for their customer. It is clear that they are solely in this business for the money and we are simply sheep that they are herding. As I sit in my 96 deg. home and wait to hear it they have bothered to order the part (which takes 5 days to get to the contractor). I can no longer take it. I feel sick and nauseated if I do anything beyond going to the fridge to retrieve an ice pack and frozen water bottle. Businesses used to care if they didn't have satisfied customers, no more! It's all about minimal ********************** and shady business practices. I will dissuade anyone from buying a home warranty with this company, it just isn't worth your health and sanity.
