  I was quite concerned about checking into Abrazo Heart Hospital recently for a procedure and three day hospital stay after reading the negative reviews online. I am very happy I was not turned away by those reviews. I was warmly greeted at my checkin even though it was 5:30 a.m. After a short wait, I was checked in and soon ushered to my pre-op room. From the pre-op room care, my procedure and then being escorted to my hospital room, the staff was very caring and professional. All my needs were promptly taken care of with smiles and pleasantness. As this is a teaching hospital, many of the nurses are students who were also professional and took excellent care of me. I was delighted to talk with them about their professional goals. The food was better than I have experienced at other hospitals and arrived warm and promptly. I did not have any negative experience during my stay. I strongly recommend this hospital to anyone needing heart health care.

  This was absolutely the worst emergency room experience I have ever had! Two and a half hours of waiting they told me that they were waiting to get the results of my cat scan that's when I told them that they never gave me the *** scan they **** my blood two and a half hours earlier and said they would take me up for a *** scan soon? That's when I decided it was time to just find a new emergency room to handle my case.

  I had an absolute horrible experience at Abrazo. After driving 21/2 hours in the rain and fog, and finally reaching the office where I was told they had no record of me. This despite already having 2 procedures done by ************** at the hospital! You and your doctor might stay away from this rotten hospital. I woke the next morning with my heart hurting, I guess from the tremendous stress from not being able to have my heart jumped-started by **************.

  My grandpa was rushed to the ** here for breathing problems, he had to stay for 2 entire days in a small cubicle with no bathroom, practically no food, and minimal attention from doctors/staff. When he'd press the button to call someone for help, nobody would come. For 2 days he was only fed soup and crackers, not even a tray to eat on he had to eat directly in his bed. It was insanely noisy with other patients all around him and only a curtain separating him from a very busy hallway and other cubicles. Even visiting him was difficult, I had to wait 2 hours just to be told I couldn't see him because "Visiting hours are from 8am to 8pm" even though my other family members got to see him despite it being after 12am. After he got dismissed to go home, his wife had to pick up his medications from local pharmacies that didn't even carry the medication he was prescribed, so his wife went to both CVS pharmacy and ***** pharmacy just to be told they both don't carry the meds he needs. This is not a good place to bring your loved ones for good care, please avoid this place at all costs.

  Can you give no stars? How in the h*** are these people open? STAY AWAY FROM ABRAZO.. First they refuse me to see my wife so I can sit with her, Second, they left her in a hallway and lost her?.. seriously? Third. They called the police and had me trespassed for being concerned and wanting to see my wife. Who would feel comfortable with missing family in an emergency room? Rude staff, really bad policies, FEAR this place and stay away.

  Both times I had to go to Abrazo what was formerly Phoenix Baptist, I left with a spot on diagnosis. I appreciate Abrazo giving me tests to find what was needed. The nurses are very nice there. I never had a bad experience. Idk why others are rating them low. If you treat healthcare staff with respect, youll be given respect. Also, people need to understand Phoenix is a very large city. They are very busy making sure they cared for everyone as best as they could. I prefer Abrazo now over other hospitals for myself.

  Charge Nurse ***************, Nurse ***********************, ****************, and the nurse with the blond hair and tattoos talked openly and publicly about my medical records. This was at the 19th Avenue location and the 24th Street location.

  Abrazo has NO Pulmonologist in system in Phoenix, (they use contact companies). Abrazo has only 1 or 2 Neurologist in system in Phoenix, (they use contact companies). At least one "office manager" gets angry if the patient wants any communication from the office concerning scheduling. I'm leaving that system because I feel they don't care about the patient.

  NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!On February 13, 2022, I went to the Abrazo Central Campus (at ************************ and ***********) ER to get a doctor's note for my college. I was there maybe **** minutes when I was called back and I saw a nurse practitioner or a doctor who asked me questions like what my symptoms were and if I have had a ******19 vaccine. Once I told her I had a ******19 vaccine and my symptoms, she told me that I had a viral infection and gave me a 24-hour doctor's note (she did not test me for anything, making it clear that since I had the vaccine that to her, there was no way I could get ******19). The next day (February 14, 2022) I was still feeling sick so I went to the health center on my college's campus (which was only closed on weekends) to get another doctor's note and they tested me for things like strep and ******19. When we got the test results back the only thing that was positive was the ******19 test. I told one of my professors what was going on and he asked me to go get another ******19 test to make sure that it was not a false positive (the second test also came back positive). At this time I was an out-of-state college student so when I got the **** it was months later due to my billing address for my insurance being my parent's house (in **********). I tried to dispute the **** with them (even sending proof) and they claim that I never sent anything and threatened to send the **** to collections.
