      I placed an order for Kraft Maid cabinets and quartz counter tops on 3/29/24, and made a down payment on my credit card for $20,000. They called me when they came in on May 29th, and wanted the balance paid! Due to the complaints on the BBB, I had a problem doing that, and was advised NOT to by the BBB, the **** and my attorney! I called *******, the owner, and he agreed to have me pay when they were delivered on June 17th. Unfortunately, ****, the installer, failed to tell me that all the cabinets for my kitchen and 2 bathrooms, were missing the side panels, and toe kicks, and there were obvious defects that we noticed after they were installed, BEFORE I paid the balance due of $19,857.03. :( Not happy that I would have to wait 8 more weeks for what I should have received on June 17th! I don't know if it was the designer's, *******************, who forgot to order the side panels and toe kicks or Kraft Maid's fault for not shipping them, but I should not be the one to pay for their mistake! I'm sure Kraft Maid compensated them, and if they didn't, they should! After all, they are a reputable company! I had to stay at a hotel for 4 nights because I was too embarrassed for my friend, who was visiting from ******, Tx., to see my unfinished kitchen and bathrooms with 10 boxes in my dining room which couldn't be unpacked until the New cabinets were delivered. I asked the owner, *******, for $300.00 compensation, and he said he had his handyman, *******************, install my microwave for free! For a $39,857.03 order, I think that he would jump at the opportunity to make me happy to earn a 5* review with the BBB and Yelp! I have never heard of anyone asking for final payment until the work is done! That's not a good business practice! You be the judge!

      Hi *****, It pains us to read this review when we worked with you on each of the complaints mentioned above. (1) You agreed to the balance due before delivery in your contract. We changed this agreement for you mid project and accommodated your request for payment at delivery. (2) The side panels are not typically ordered separately for Kraftmaid. There was a glitch in the Kraftmaid system, which is why our representative provided them at no charge. (3) We did apply several thousands of dollars in savings via Kraftmaid discount to you. (4) You initially arranged your own demo and then changed your mind at the last minute. As a courtesy, we arranged for a general contractor to assist at nearly half the usual cost. He also installed your microwave, which Superior paid for as an additional courtesy. We take customer feedback very seriously and are disappointed by this review.
