We hired Venus Garden to do what ***** said was a small job of laying pavers. We already had pavers in place but due to having to dig some up we hired ***** to return the area back to normal. We paid him some money up front for supplies ($400) and paid to have landscape rock delivered. He said it would take 4 days. On June 13th he started the job and June 26th messaged my husband he had to withdraw from the job. This was after multiple times of him saying hed be here and would never show. The times he did show he made very minimal progress. He had to dig some dirt out to level the area for the pavers and dumped it on the side of our yard without asking is. I assumed he would be removing it and when I asked him he said no. However, we had a gas line out in which was the reason for the job. And the city advised the dirt had to be removed as it was to close to the gas line. ***** said he could remove some. I agreed to that and said we could spread the rest to level it out. I thought it was odd he put dirt on the side of our house on top of a landscaped area. To date we had to hire someone else to spread the rock as we had to get it out of the street. And are having to find someone else to finish laying the pavers and help us move the dirt from the side of the house. I would not recommend hiring Venus Garden or certainly would not pay anything up front and would watch his work.
