Great experience working through the loan process. Appreciated *******'s financial advice she gave me outside of the loan process. Her advice will help set us up to be more financially successful in the future.

I worked with ******* at fund America to secure a business loan for my ****** shop. The available capital was so imperative in helping my company reach the next level. ******* was very knowledgeable and gave me all of the important information needed to feel comfortable with this process. She knows how to take care of business!

We took a loan that was predicated on two things: each daily payment would be reported as a successful monthly payment to business credit bureaus (building up years of history in just months), and that the loan could be refinanced half way through for a lower monthly payment. In *******'s words, refinancing is extremely beneficial because people can't be expected to pay this kind of interest over 7.5 months.******* explained that FundMerica would be providing the funds. As the deal came closer to a close, it became apparent that there was another agency, *****************, that would actually be funding us. She coached me through the questions that ***************** would be asking. She was very insistent I not giving them any additional information and just answer their questions. I now know that they ask these questions to make sure that FundMerica didn't over promise, but as I was coached, I simply answered briefly. We got the loan.As we reached the halfway point, ******* let us know that we qualify for refinancing. We could either get more money and continue to work toward the line of credit product by proving ourselves or refinance our existing loan. We decided to refinance our existing loan. Bad news: we don't qualify. We owe $12,000 and, according to *******, only loans of $15,000 or more qualify for refinancing. This could have been foreseen with simple math on *******'s part when she offered us the loan. Instead, she stated that this is the first time in over a decade that she has heard of this restriction.When I told her we wouldn't be taking more money, she lectured me on how it takes money to make money. I told her that the issue was that she promised that we could refinance our existing loan. She denied saying this, even though she said it over and over. This was the primary reason we accepted the loan; I wouldn't have accepted otherwise.After speaking to *****************, they don't report daily payments as monthly and they couldn't help me.

Its difficult at times to find a solution that best fits your needs, when everything is automated. But I sure was glad in connecting with ***** She was very sweet & kind. Answered all my questions and made me feel confident with my decision. She was extremely professional, and genuinely cared about me. The company needs more people like ***** Thank you so much for all that you do. She deserve a raise !

We spent more than 2 weeks sending paperwork and at the end of the day they declined us, but the worst part wasn't the decline, the worst part was that I had to call to find out the decision and the representative was very rude.
