  Requested services of meals prepared 3 times a week which included delivery of meals. Jodie asked for $650 advance for a month of service. I told her I was uncomfortable with advancing that much money as I might not like her food. She said she would reimburse funds not used if I wasn’t happy. She delivered three meals and I realized 12 meals a month broke down to $54 a meal. I called her and said WHY and how could this happen? She said the extra money was for coaching. I never requested coaching, only three meals a week which she indicated were about $20 a meal. Her website indicated you can pick your plan. I told her I wanted no more service and to reimburse me unused funds. She has refused. I have texts to prove she was verbally abusive and belligerent once I decided I did not want her services. There was no signed contract. She essentially stole from me.

  Client reviewed website and was quoted a price for nutrition coaching and meals prepared for her.  Meals By Jodie was to inform, educate and follow certain guidelines the client imposed.  MBJ followed the format and supplied with meals.  Client began to get extremely agitated at the state of her health and decided to slander MBJ on any ******** and website areas she was to find.  Client is liable for lies and trying to get her money back for services rendered after slander.  MBJ had to hire professional services to sue for defamation and slander.

  This is not accurate information from the business.  I have a copy of my original request for meals only, no nutritional consultation.  I have received nothing from an attorney for slander and rated the business on **** and ******.  I have copied of the texts received from business after I requested to stop service.  The Meals by Jodie website list options of service and one is meals.  I already have a nutritionist so would never have agreed to counseling from Jodie.  We literally had a brief phone conversation and then three meals were delivered.  I am happy to provide all correspondence.

  Client was explained to on the phone that this was not a meal delivery service.  Meals happen to be included in the meal coaching.  Representative spent an hour with the client;, as well, as there are screen shots on respondent's phone an emails of the nutrition coaching that was taking place.  Included in those screen shots, it is documented that the money was being refunded if the slander was taken down from social media.  That was not done.  MBJ is a honest, caring business that prides itself on helping those with physical chronic ailments.  We understand that this issue is fraught with angst and many emotions to manage.  We are happy that she is a cancer survivor and wants to help prevent this from coming back by taking charge of her life.  This does not give patients a free pass to make false accusations about businesses that she has tried.  We also are sorry this was not a good fit.   Sincerely, Management

  I can attach all the correspondence but need more than 30 minutes to do so.  This application is not allowing me enough time but I do have correspondence that would show the business is not being honest.  Please provide me more time to compile the info and attach without time constraints
