liftchair.com ************ is out of ******* **.I spent almost $4000.00 for a liftchair made by Golden technologies. The chair had a electrical equipment failure which caused the chair to quit working. I am disabled and was caught up in the air in a horizontal position. I was forced to crawl out of the chair because it wouldn't operate and I was afraid of an electrical fire. Getting out of the chair I was hurt badly and have lasting pain as a result.Golden technologies asked me to try a replacement chair and I agreed with the understanding they corrected the flaw with the electrical equipment; they agreed! The replacement chair arrived from the same dealer, liftchair.com. the store manager *** supervised the process. About 2 months after I received the replacement chair this chair had the same electrical problem as the 1st. Thankfully I wasn't in the chair this time.Golden Technologies agreed to refund all my money due to the same issue occurring. They had to give my money back to me via liftchair.com and *** because he was the dealer. Golden Technologies gave our money to *** over 3 months ago and we have attempted multiple forms of communication to get our money returned to us however he ignored all our calls. Golden technologies has attempted multiple times to get him to give us our money and he ignored their calls as well.After 3 months went by *** finally sent an email stating that he was keeping a portion of our money for "restocking", the chairs never went back to him, they went back to Golden technologies so there was no restocking the chair. *** didn't pay for the shipping, Golden technologies paid for that.At this point all I can do is write reviews and warn consumers to beware.********************************** Date of experience: April 05, 2023Business response

First of all, $2,867.92 is the exact amount paid for the chair not $4,000.00. He was offered a full refund of this amount on August 8th, 2023 and asked to remove his false, inaccurate, and harmful reviews. He continues to threaten more of them in this complaint. We will credit his credit card the full $2,867.92 as soon as possible. We are sorry for any miscommunications between ******************************* and Golden causing him to make false assumptions. We always strive for excellent customer service.
