I went to the Hospital on 10/4/23. I recently received a bill from ************************ through Affiliated Hospitalists. My total bill from *************** was $51.24 according to *****, my insurance company. I was sent a bill on 12/19/23 which I paid I was subsequently billed $51.24 on 12/28/2023, 1/05/2024 and 1/16/2024 all of which I paid. I again received a bill for $51.24 on 1/29/2024 which I have not paid. I tried to call Affiliated Hospitalists several times and they either hang up the phone or the person on the other end tells me I still owe the money. One time I requested a itemized bill be mailed to me (which I have enclosed) and it still says I owe $51.24 to *************************. I have never received an actual bill from the Dr or the billing company, just a text message to pay the $51.24. This company seems like a scam to me.
