Transaction date: Aug 2022 Amount paid: $459,000.00 What the business committed to provide to you: Home value appraisal, What nature of the dispute is: overpayment Whether or not the business tried to resolve the problem: No, the business closed it's doors, the loan officer does not have information If the issue involves advertising: No We believe the we overpaid the selling price of the condo. During the transaction there was a fluctuation of real estate value. Right after the closure of the sale, Suburban Mortgage closed it's doors and no longer able to contact. We learned that the sale did not include an appraisal. We did not get the opportunity to make the right decision, were not able to negotiate or withdraw from the sale due to lack of information. We believe the payment of points is unnecessary. Credit score is very high. The transaction of this home purchase needs to be investigated. We do not have the resources to pursue in court but, a public defender can help. We believe Suburban Mortgage has done an unethical or unlawful activity in the transaction of the purchase. of : 6 ************************************************************************This complain is filed late due to lack of knowledge, until finally learned that there is BBB to ask for help to resolve the matter. We believe we were taken advantage of by Suburban. We rely on the expertise of the agent or loan officer we believe is in our advantage or it is fair market value. I tried asking for help from the buyer's agent from Redfin but, unsuccessful. WE also believe, they just want to get their commission and did not care of the law or ethical way of dealing business. We paid 20% down, and paid points to lower the interest rate.We can provide all documentations needed if you have any questions for your investigation.We believe, Suburban is liable to payback the difference of what we paid of the sale price and points collected.
