Thank you ************************* move went smoothly, the movers were very professional and efficient knowing exactly what needed to be done in a manner that accomplished the task at hand in a timely ********* family have used Arizona Discount Movers in the past with no complaints, but a lot of complements. Absolutely horrible service and would not recommend! It took 7 hours for 3 men to move an apartment with minimal furniture 20min away. I moved to 5th floor, not the 26th floor like the owner lied and stated on another review. I had minimum furniture bc I purchased new furniture to be delivered to my new place. I had an item that was broke and also had missing things. I later got a charge for a purchase that was taken from my home. It took 50min to drive to my new apartment which is exactly 18min away, while paying an hourly ******************** fee. Also have proof and texting employees asking where they are, while the owner lied and said they didnt take that long. One of the movers found me on social media and began liking a bunch of my pictures, which is just extremely unprofessional. This was never discussed at the move like the owner tried to say happened. Once I stated this to the manager, ********* she proceeded to say how he is harmless and had no concern for the length her men took in my move. When hiring a company, professionalism and safety should always be a concern when it involves your home, this business completely fell short and would not recommend!Review from Richard W

I have been a frequent mover and my best experiences have been with AZ Discount Movers. My latest move was with the help of **** and *****. Their first job of the day required more time than predicted. They started early that day and worked until after eight to complete my move. It was aver hot day in Arizona, but they never complained or faultered. They were professional and demonstrated their expertise when helping me relocate. I beg everyone reading this review to not fall for the same trap I did and get another moving company!!! I went with the movers who had the cheapest rates and to say it backfired would be an understatement. When I called to get a quote we did not know the exact date of our move as it was new construction. They told me that I should book now to lock in the rate and then I could change at any time. They told me the rate and we agreed at a specific price, cheaper than other quotes I had gotten. Then, with over a month notice I got the specific date and we scheduled it in. I was discussing dates with the lady over the phone and she told me that on Sunday they would have to charge more as they have to pay the guys overtime so we agreed to do it on Saturday. The day before the move we got a confirmation call and that is when I was told that the rate had changed and we now had to pay ***** more per hour than we originally agreed on. At this point, it was one day before the move and I had no choice but to agree. Their movers came and I will say one of them was a great worker and he did an amazing job however the move took way longer than it should have and two of the workers were not as useful. For example when we moved into this house (3 Br, 2BA) it took 3 hours and these guys took over 6 hours to do the move again, sometimes the cheaper rate is not the best option. Now, this is where things get even more fun! I had asked several times about moving our big screen ** and they said they would take care of it. Now, when we got to the new place the ** was broken and screen completely shattered. It has now been over 3 weeks and we still do not have a ** in our living room and was forced to host a Memorial Day house warming party with no ** in the living room. Our ** was only ****** and they still have not reimbursed us for that. They ask for 12 weeks which just seems ridiculous for a reimbursement. We apologize that you were not happy with your moving service.When you booked your move, you were booked in April when the rates are lower. We make it very clear that our rates go up in May to our summer rates. Your move date was originally booked in April when the rates were lower. Your original rate was booked at $165 an hour for three professional movers.You were originally scheduled for April 27 and you called and rescheduled your moved to May 11. We never changed the rate on you last minute you were made aware during the process of you rescheduling your move from April to May. We made it very clear that the rates are higher in May and thats why your rate went up by $30 more per hour. you called us to reschedule and that was a day that the rate was already full and the rate was higher. We made that very clear upon the day that you called to reschedule from April to May. I find it interesting that youre neglecting to tell the truth in this review instead youre making it sound like we just change the rate on you last minute which is not the truth. During your move process, the movers worked very hard in the heat over 100 weather. you were moving from within ******** and you had over a 1700 square-foot home. Your move got done in 5.75 hours plus the travel fee which for that size home is phenomenal. we never like to hear that a customer has damage out of all of the items that we moved that day. Your TV did get damaged. There was no physical damage on the outside but when you turned your TV on there was lines. We are within our timeframe processing your claim, were actually getting it done a lot quicker and had pushed it in the front Other customers claims. we have been very compliant with trying to process your claim quicker than usual. Also, in this review, theres a lot of things that youre saying that were not told to us, when we called you to get feedback about the move you told us that the movers did a great job and that the move was great, but there was just a damaged TV, we will be processing your claim this week like we had told you several times and your compensation check and letter should be mailed out this week again we never like to hear a customer has damage, we have been in business in the valley for going on 47 years were an A rated company and we have been in business for a very long time we feel like this move. Got done in a very timely manner most 1700 square-foot homes take 5 to 7 hours to move on average. Again we apologize for the damage on the tv and we will have this completed by Friday of this week.Review from Christina H

I truly NEVER leave reviews and am not one to normally complain. But my experience with this company has been truly awfulPLEASE STAY AWAY!!! 7 months after our move we have still not been paid for damage that was incurred to our bed frame due to negligence from the movers (they did not cover, wrap, or protect our CREAM FABRIC bed frame in ANY way and it ended up with a very noticeable rip right in the middle of the headboard). They claim they sent a check which I never received, but couldnt even tell me what the amount was for? Now theyve been saying for almost two months theyre going to Zelle me a measly $108 for a headboard that will cost me $700 to replace. Ive been told 4 times over the past 2 months that the Zelle will be sentI still have not received. I truly believe this company tries to sideline you for as long as possible, hoping that ***** eventually get tired enough and just move on and they wont have to pay you. Not to mention the moving experience itself was absolutely awful, but I wasnt going to even complain about that. Our movers only loaded up half of our house, closed the truck and were about to leave and I had to tell them theres still more to do?? Then they rushed through the other half of the house, which I believe is how the damage occurred because they were cutting corners. I waited at our new house for 35 minutes for them even though we left the old house at the same time. I understand people are human and make mistakes, and I wasnt and am not even asking for compensation for those issues. But its absolute outrageous and unacceptable that Im still dealing with this nightmare 7 months later. Ive seen similar reviews, and how the company responds extremely defensively vs being apologetic and trying to make things right. As a small business owner myself, that is a HUGE red flag. This company lives in the grey area, walking the line between not TECHNICALLY lying, but not doing the right thing either. Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!Arizona Discount Movers Response

Updated response: your damage claim for the one item that got damaged during your move process has been completed. You have been refunded for this damage. We again apologize at any damage occurred at all during your move and we thank you for your patience. We apologize for the one item the headboard that got damaged during your move process. How this process went is when you booked your move, we offered you the basic valuation coverage that comes with every move by law, and we also offered you additional cover full replacement coverage at a cost, which would be full replacement value. You chose the basic valuation coverage, so upon the claim of your damaged headboard when we processed your claim and spoke with you over the phone we made it very clear that you chose the basic valuation coverage and that is what your claim will be processed for. You became very upset with us and stated that we were unprofessional and were not happy with the choice that you made , we do not make that choice for customers. They choose that themselves upon booking the move as well as the day of the move. We do apologize for the delay in sending you the compensation check for the damage we did send out a check and you stated you did not receive it so we offered to Zelle it to your account , we actually spoke with you and by email and made it clear that we would have it done by today. Again, we apologize for any damages occurring in the first place we do our very best to prevent damage. We did pad and shrink your headboard, but unfortunately, during the process damage did occur. Your claim process will be completed by tomorrow and we are again sorry for any damage that did occur. I do not believe that we are any different than any other company Out there. Every moving company by law gives the customer the choice on what valuation coverage to choose, and your claims are processed at that valuation coverageReview from Susan T
