We hired Olympian Moving because they were affiliated with Allied and Allied had a storage facility in *******, **. We were quoted $30,000 for this move that included three months of storage, so we downsized our move by two rooms of furniture and only 1 month of storage. The amount increased once they had our items. We paid the full amount and when our shipment arrived, a large number of big items were missing: our queen **** an end table, a large decorative mirror, 2 tvs, ******* grill, and an 8 foot ladder. The list continues. We have complied with both Olympian and Allied and filed a statement of claim. Our claim has been denied.Business response

Our goal at Olympian Worldwide is complete customer satisfaction on every relocation we do. I am sorry we did not perform to your satisfaction.
Upon review of your file every item was checked off at the time of pickup from Olympian's warehouse and no exceptions were noted at delivery as required and was the basis of the denial of your claim.the additional cost for the additional weight added was approved by **************** via email.

load date was 6/22/22 in ******* [ ****** ---lot number T33242 ]movers came to new address 9/1/22 ,with out my 24 ft ext aluminum ladder .it is listed on manifest log ,they tell me it is not ,have list in front of me ,they still say no .Now they want me to take .60 per pound . and pro rate .This is there NEGLIGENCE, not mine. All I asked for is $ ****** to replace item .Please advise what can be done ..Thanks 9/12/22Business response

Olympian Worldwide Movers did a full pack and ship for my household belongs at *********************************************************. ********************* moving consultant said I had ***** pounds of household freight and I would be charged accordingly. I paid $17,870.19 for ***** freight. He said if I had less weight I would get a refund. He also said my household would be put in a sealed container and would not be touched until it arrives in *********, ******. As it turns out I only have ****pounds of household weight. ******** Relocation in ********* ****** advised me they had **** pounds of household weight to deliver. They sent. me the invoices.Olympian Worldwide Movers refuse to talk to me, email or refund the difference between **** and **** pounds of freight. That is **** pound difference as well as $4,904.15 that they owe **** am 78 years old woman and feel they have taken advantage of me and refuses a refund ************************* ************ *********************Business response

Better Business Bureau:Olympian Worldwide Movers should have recalcutated the shipping cost, **** Lb household freight and the **** lb household freight I was charged subtracting the cost difference which is much more than $2705. I accept under duress the $2705. check. I doubt they will give me what is really owed.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *********** find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
