I purchased a vehicle exhaust downpipe from RPM Motorsports on June 26th 2023 for $368.49. After receiving the item and inspecting it, I determined it was defective. After replacing the product, on July 6th 2023 I contacted RPM Motorsport via email to request a return for a refund. After declining a replacement I did not receive another response until July 17th after I attempted a chargeback. *********************** stated he would provide a return label if I closed the chargeback. The chargeback was closed but a return label was never provided. On August 30th after waiting for a return label I purchased one myself and sent the defective item back. The item was received on September 9th and signed for. After several phone calls and being told I cannot be helped I have not received a refund for a defective item I returned.Business response

I purchased an expensive turbo kit from this company and was assured that all the parts are either manufactured in house, OE purchased parts, or genuine branded parts. When the kit arrived, there was no parts list or instructions and when I finally got the kit installed by a professional aftermarket car shop, the car had endless problems and RPM Motorsports LLC couldn't figure out how to tune the car like they promised that they were capable of. They kept telling me to go buy more and more parts to fix a "vacuum leak" but I had the car tested and it had zero vacuum leaks or exhaust leaks.Purchased parts requested by RPM Motorsports LLC that didn't fix the issue:- MAF - $80 - Gaskets - $30 Purchased parts to fix RPM Motorsports LLC problems:- ZZP Tune - $260 - ********************* Tune - $230 - 30-0334 Wideband - $220 After many emails back and forth trying to work things out, RPM Motorsports LLC has stopped responding to emails or calls and refuses to make things better.Come to find out, RPM Motorsports LLC sent fake injectors for the price of genuine injectors and still refuses to contact me about replacing the parts.Refund or replacement requested for new GENUINE injectors: $215.99 Come to find out, the injectors that RPM Motorsports LLC sent were fake injectors and RPM Motorsports LLC has refused to contact me back to fix this issue.Business response

****************, For notes of fact and reference you state that we have sent you "FAKE" fuel injectors. If you read through our web site and the item description we do not "NAME" a brand of fuel injector that we provide. The injectors we provide in our kit are from our proprietary supplier and are not of a specific brand.
Also we ship on average 40+ of these kits per year and have since 2008 when we released the kit. some parts can fail out of the box new and if this is the case we apologize. as of today 5/23/22 we have sent you a new set of injectors that you seem to be satisfied with. FOr future reference contacting RPM directly with an issue will yield the quickest path to service as opposed to writing the BBB and then contacting us on an open forum. My main problem is with a huge lack of communication and availability between RPM Motorsports and their customers, and I know I can name and enlist quite a few people to corroborate that claim as well, not to mention the last email from Nov. 17, 2021 which contained two questions and a data log is, as of 11:15am on 5-25-2022, still unanswered further demonstrating a lack of communication. BBB itself also has included a statement that RPM Motorsports has not replied in a timely manner and they've recorded that in this claim. You state that the supplied injectors are not "fake" and that they're "proprietary" and are "not of a specific brand" however I have pictures showing that the injectors are clearly marked with the branding ******** DEKA" which is a trademarked brand and model of specific injectors to which the injectors in question imitated very closely. Since you've already remedied the material issue by sending me a set of injectors from a third party free of charge that fixed the root issue, I would like to see what ******* QC says about their branded injectors in your possession since they should be able to track the serial number on the injector body ********* - *******. I had all of the injectors in question professionally lab tested prior to returning them to RPM Motorsports and not only did they not comply with datasheet specs for uniformity and spray pattern required of 630CC ******* DEKA injectors, but they didn't match cosmetically/visually either. As for reaching out to the BBB before asking you to make it better, that is factually incorrect. I tagged you in 3 posts and sent a message on ******** messenger prior to submitting a claim about the injectors. Prior to that it was common knowledge that my car was not running well, and we have many emails between us with several misdiagnoses to explain the issues with the car that the injectors were causing. My car was down for nearly 10 months while I had to diagnose the issue myself as faulty injectors.
