We bought our dog from them 7 years ago and had such a great experience! Such a great family business! Great staff and super cute and well taken care of dogs. They have binders with all the information about their breeders and everything is handled with the most care and consideration for the sweet puppies! The new building is amazing and spacious! I will definitely be buying m next dog from them!Review from Kellen D

***************************** has been so good to my family. Today we adopted our second dog through them with the assistance of ********** He walked us through every detail of our adoption process with so much kindness and attention to detail to ensure our puppy would have the most optimal experience as she transitioned to her new home. The breeders shown to us were of exceeding moral standard and we could not be more grateful for ***************************** providing us with the newest member of our family. Again I cannot express enough the gratitude we have for ********* and his sincere heart to see this puppy would be so loved and taken care of.Review from Donna L

We purchased a mini aussie. We're told was 100% pure bred. We got him home, he was sick. *******. And severe eye infection. Vet bill was covered, however not before he got really bad. 2 months of steroids and multiple aggressivemedications. Had to quarantine him from our other pets as well as clean with industrial chemicals to prevent spreading the infection. Also, the breeder and ***************************** is on the Bailing Out Benji puppy mill list for the "Horrible Hundred". They've been fined and their breeders have had animals confiscated and shut down. They continue buying from the same puppy ***** that reopen with a new unregistered, Inbred dog. Our male is in poor genetic health it would put litters at risk. Also, he was not 100% as they stated. We checked his registration. It's not legitimate. Buyer beware. They also use a ridiculous finance company that over charges and does not clearly state their fees per TILA. Go to Bailing Out Benji.com all of these chain stores are listed. We should have done more research before purchasing a dog there. And they will do nothing to remedy it.Puppies 'N Love Response

Dear ******,First of all, we hope that ******** and **** are well. Were once again so sorry that **** was under the weather after he went home, and we are happy that we could support you with our 15-day primary health warranty so that you were reimbursed for your medical bills. Still, we understand that this was a stressful time for your family, and the very last thing that we want is for this experience to be anything less than joyful. With the rest of this, however, I am afraid that there may be some misunderstanding. Please allow us to clarify a few things. First and foremost, Bailing Out ***** does not have a Horrible Hundred list. There is a Horrible Hundred list that is produced by the *************** and none of the breeders that we currently use are on there, nor are the breeders of your dogs. Also please rest assured that we absolutely do not purchase from anyone that has had animals confiscated or been shut down. Any breeder that had this type of violation would be immediately placed on our Do Not Buy list. We are constantly screening every breeder we work with.We can also assure you that both of your dogs have legitimate registrations. Lanes parents were registered with the ********************************* and Cheyennes parents were registered with Americas ************* **** Whether the dogs themselves are registered would be your decision, based on whether you decided to complete the registration process. However, we can say with confidence that these two are purebred Australian Shepherds. The dogs that we sell in our store are meant to be companion animals, which means that while we examine the dogs to make sure that they are healthy and any genetic testing a breeder has chosen to do, we do not guarantee breeding or showing abilities. This was all covered on your paperwork that you signed when purchasing your dogs.We work with a handful of different financing institutions, and we do our best to plainly explain the financial responsibilities that borrowing from one of these companies will entail. We can assure you that they are all compliant with TILA.Finally, we respect the work that Bailing Out ***** does in advocating for shelter pets and with their Iowa-based pet food pantry. However, their information is outdated, and many of assertions on these puppy ***** are based on the number of dogs that these USDA licensed breeders keep. This fails to take into account the number of caretakers each breeder keeps on staff or the quality of life that they are providing for the dogs. As previously stated, we screen every single breeder that we use, and even personally fly out to inspect a number of them twice a year.We are very sorry that you are feeling this way, and if you would like to further discuss these concerns, you can reach out to ***** in Customer Relations at **********************. Once again, we hope that you and your dogs are well.Review from Tiffanie G

I visited the San Tan Village mall location and witnessed the staff abusing puppies. We stopped by on Sunday, January 21, **** around 2:00pm. When we walked in there were two puppies in the top glass cage a black Lhasa Aspo and a brown ********************************. I had stopped to look at the puppies when a woman in green scrubs opened the cage and began trying to pick up the black dog. The brown was very excited and it was hard for the woman to pick up the black dog. She proceeded to start pulling on the dogs leg/paw three separate times. She was clearly hurting the puppy and he was under distress. She then went to get help to pick up the black dog. That was when another worker proceeded to open the cage again and when the brown puppy walked up he aggressively pushed the small puppy back towards the window. My husband and I were so sick at witnessing the abuse that we told a worker that had approached and quickly left the pet shop. I am very concerned with the treatment that we witnessed. I do think this needs to be investigated and I will be reaching out to the manager. If employees can abuse animals in plain sight Im concerned for the safety of all animals under their care.Puppies 'N Love Response

Dear ********,We once again would like to thank you for bringing this to our attention. The manager has taken corrective action with the employee in question. This was a newer employee that is still in training. She had no intention of harming the puppy and now understands her mistake. We have also taken this opportunity to again, review our puppy handling protocols with all staff members in our store, which include that puppies should never be picked up by their legs. The health and safety of our puppies is our highest priority. We take this very seriously, and are ensuring that nothing like this ever happens again.Review from Marilyn B

In July 2022 I was on a waiting list to purchase a ********* Terrier, upon arriving to the location I saw the 9-week-old puppy weight 3lbs per looks this puppy looked like a ********* terrier, once I got her home after 2weeks I noticed her looks starting changing I questioned the authenticity of the breed so my vet did a DNA and it came back the ********* terrier ended up being a mix breed dog she is only 87% ********* terrier I was so disappointed since these puppy's are not cheap in cost I felt they were taken advantage of customers. Buyers beware not 100% purebred might as well get from the pound it's a lot cheaper.Puppies 'N Love Response

******* had contacted us about her puppys DNA test. We did inform her that as a company we do not accept DNA results to determine breed status as DNA tests say themselves they are not intended to prove breed status, but in good faith and due to the puppys size being larger than she had anticipated we offered her multiple solutions and let her choose what she wanted. This was going far beyond our warranty coverage but we did what we could to resolve the issue. ******* seemed very grateful for the offer and we had thought this issue was resolved. ******* accepted and seemed very happy with the outcome.Customer Response

When purchasing a puppy that cost $5,499 and was told by the store @ puppies N love that it was purebred York shire terrier only to get the puppy home and within two weeks the puppy's looks started to change looking more terrier and not York shire terrier my vet did a DNA the vet stated by looks this puppy was not York shire terrier then a DNA test came back as ****% yorkie not 100% the public needs to be aware that the puppies being sold are not 100% even the breeder could not substantiate the 100% they had no paperwork or pedigree info I was told these puppies / dogs were not in the breeders possession at birth either this makes everything questionable, I never got full payment for the vet cost either this puppy was sick when I received it I had to pay hundreds of dollars to treat an ear infection and then vaginitis kennel cough, I only got back 1/2 of what I paid not even half I paid for a replacement puppy as well for a mix dog I could have purchased a purebred yorkie off ********** for $800.00 and saved my self $6,200 let's not forget to mention after the fact I found out that they had several complaints on the BBB for same issue. They should have to place a disclaimer in their store that the puppies or dogs are not purebred, and they would not have this problem. If i was going to purchase a mix breed dog, I would have rather saved a dog from the euthanasian I would have only paid about $74.00.Review from JILL M

We purchased our Shih Tzu from puppies in love and we were very impressed. Their staff was just as kind to us after the sale as they were before the sale. Our Shih Tzu is an absolutely beautiful dog and very well-bred. They run a top-notch operation and truly are in it for the right reasons; they love animals. They have strict rules and guidelines for their breeders which they STRICTLY enforce.Very impressed!
