      All right went into Deer Valley Recycling on a Saturday. As it was it took forever because their system was supposedly down. I think that's the way they get over on people because they weren't giving out receipts. I took in what they said was only 25lbs of brass casings. Wrong!! I weighed it at another location and it was 32lbs. Also took in 17lbs really 21 lbs of copper wire. I was told it was 35% wire which half of it was at least 50% and I even had bare copper wire in there. Either way they still only paid me for the low grade wire at .20 cents a pound. I think the average is over a dollar. Wanted to offer me a $1.37 for the brass casings which is about a dollar or less than where I normally go. Anyone who's written a review on this place and said they are a good company needs to get their head checked. These guys will rip you off every chance they get. And the owner treats his employees like c*** Talks down to them like they're beneath him. Inspector General should shut this place down

      07/13/2023

      Good afternoon ****************,
      This is the first I'm hearing about your experience at our facility back in March.  To address your concerns in the order they were written.

      • As for our system being down, I'm waiting on information from the exact date you were allegedly in the yard as we have no records of you being here in 2023.  Though I show two transactions in 2022 for you.
      • Brass Casings - **** I'm not sure how or where you weighed your material(s) and whether or not it was done on CERTIFIED SCALES for TRADE, but our scales are certified approximately every 90 days and we are the only ones in the **************** who do this.  The state only requires once a year.  So, I am going to disagree with you on your assumed weights.  We call out your weight(s)s and grades of metal(s) as we are weighing them, so there is NO confusion.
      • Again, with the **** have you done the recoveries yourself and what process did you use to determine the actual or were you taking someone word for it?  In my 40+ years of being in the industry, I have done thousands of wire samples and feel very confident that our grading was on point, but without transactional details there is no way to determine if a mistake was made.
      • As for your bare copper wire, we wouldn't have bought it, as it is against the law to purchase.  Are you even sure that you were at our facility and not someone else's?
      • In regard to pricing mid and or low grade ICW hasn't been at or over $1.00 a lb in years, so someone is lying to you on its value
      You had a chance to address your concerns at the time of the transaction and we wished you had.  We would have re-weighed, explained and given your material back without hesitation if you still felt that way.  I have been in business at this location for nearly 22 years, I have never cheated or ripped anyone off as you stated.  I take offense to your words used, especially when you didn't address it immediately.  Your perception is your reality, and I get that, but it doesn't make it true or accurate especially when you play the victim card later.

      Actually, I stand corrected.  We found a canceled ticket for you in March on the 18th.  I'm curious with regards to the **** was it Cat 6 communication cable?  Looking at the picture, that is was it appears to be...

      Regards,
      **********;
