I purchased a Squishmallows 8 inch ********************* Shark Plush on November 18, 2021 for $28.63 (including tax), the item was delivered on December 7, 2021. I purchased the item through Walmart.com which used a third party seller Arizona Pacific Pulp & Paper, Inc. My daughter opened the plush on December 25, 2021 and we discovered it was fake. I contacted the seller through Walmart.com to request a refund and also on the Walmart.com site it states I could make the return to the store. I attempted to return the item to the store and was told with this third party seller I could not even though the site states I could. In the meantime the seller got back to me and asked for a photo of the item, I sent two and explained what was wrong with it. It did not have the same markings of a Squishmallow as the photo showed when purchasing the plush. The red stitching on the mouth was messy, the black stitching on the fins were missing, there was not a Squishmallow tag attached, there was no tail on the plush. I was told I could send it back at a cost to me for shipping. If I do not send it back, they offered a 20% discount of the product and I could keep the item. My daughter collects Squishmallow, I do not need to keep an item that does not fit that category and I do not think I should pay for shipping for a fake item that was sent to me. I am requesting a full refund and nothing more. I reached out to Walmart.com via chat and was told they could not do anything, that is states I have to pay shipping, I could not find this on the site under return policy for this seller, and they offered me a $10.00 promo code - I do not want a $10.00 promo code, I just want my item refunded. This is actually the third time I've received a fake or wrong item through Walmart.com third party sellers, all for this 2021 Holiday Season. I will not be shopping through Walmart.com again.
