Almeida Roofing resolved a roof leak problem that had plagued me for 2 years after another company redid ******* on this wing of the house. A complicated situation for which Almeida provided a reasonable solution. I investigated 3 stucco companies and 3 roofing companies. Almeida Roofing was very responsive schedule-wise due my personal commitments and got the job completely done over a 2-week period in spite of the uncooperative weather. All the workers were pleasant and attentive to details. They left a clean job site every day. Almeida Roofing price was competitive. ******* in the office is responsive and efficient. No complaint whatsoever.Of course the proof of the pudding will be during the next monsoon season, if we have one this year. But I have great hope. Thank you.

******* Roofing replaced the old felt (30 years old) with a new and improved felt and resurfaced my walking decks. They did a Fantastic Job. The workers were professional, extremely helpful with questions and cleaned up every day.I spoke to the owner a number of times and he was Extremely polite and professional and answered all my concerns with NO Problem.I was extremely pleased with the work and price. Almeida provides fair pricing, great communication and some of the nicest people to communicate!From working with ******* on the phone or email , to the estimator and then finally the actual roofers, they are great. Highly recommended and I will be calling them for all my roofing needs.

We just had our roof done by Almeida, poor customer service and poor communication. The price increased over $1000 in less than a week with no communication from company. The two guys that did the roof spoke very little English. They showed up before 5 am everyday and left debris everywhere. No professionalism. Price gouging. Would not recommend. I called many times with no answer and this was their response.Please see email when I asked why the increase without prior notification:Good morning.I wanted to forward the photos that the Superintendent took for wood replacement. ***** and I discussed this and we are both in agreement--on the first page of our contract it states "Bad wood cannot be fully assessed until roofing has been removed. If there is any bad plywood, it will be an additional TBD (depending on current prices of material) per sheet to replace." Your initials are on the bottom of that page. You were also sent the current wood pricing list when we sent over your estimate, so pricing was not unknown. As far as the trash goes, the Super told us the gate was locked, so he couldn't get back there--we clean up daily if we have access. If there was a problem, we would've appreciated a call or email to the office. You were also notified of the date that the job would begin (see below).We can get the roof loaded with materials tomorrow or Saturday.We can start it on Monday.******* Almeida Roofing Inc.Service: Roof installation

The first estimate we gave was Dec. 2021. The contract had to be updated to current pricing, and was signed by customer May ********** is 5 months later. Unfortunately, materials have indeed went up since Dec--they were increasing on an average of every 3 weeks. In many cases, they skyrocketed. That is not something that we did as a contractor. Customer is correct in my email to her, and she did in fact initial/sign/date written contract with the wood verbage in there.

Had an amazing experience with Almeida Roofing. They are a family owned business with 40+ years of experience. They came out and provided a free estimate with a reasonable price and did not try to oversell what we needed. Their time line was very quick from free estimate, to scheduling the job, to completion. The crew cleaned up the nails and shingle debris leaving our property clean. Definitely would recommend them. They are also located close by so that made it even better.

Almeida replaced my 22 year old original roof. The tiles were reused but all other material was replaced and new. They completed the job on time. The workers arrived everyday at 6am and left at 2pm. (It is getting hot now). The workers answered all my questions during the 6 day job and also let me know if there were any changes to the contract found during the installation. So far, I am very happy with the job that was done.

Almeida tore off my foam roof, including most plywood, well over a decade ago, as it was being destroyed by ravens.They coordinated well with the insulation company that was shooting additional insulation into the truss spaces and completely replaced my roof with one that was "raven ******* They also updated/replaced all ************.Over the years since, I've had an occasional leak, to which they have promptly responded and mitigated.They do expect their clients to maintain the roof and parapet walls and rightfully so, as what can appear to be a roof leak could actually originate in a cracked parapet wall.Most recently, one of ************ cracked. Although it was out of warranty, they replaced it at a fair price.I highly recommend them.

BEWARE! We used Almeida for a tear off on our house in ****. We promptly sent our 50% deposit so they would start our project. They then subbed the job out and that is where things started going sideways. They forgot to install the fascia that we specifically asked for and also forgot to reconnect certain utilities such as our hot water heater exhaust, and other things. They sent an invoice out but the job was NOT done. We called to ask them and could not get a hold of anyone, no one ever called us back, then randomly one day another person was at our house finishing these items. There was no communication whatsoever. They dont have control over their own jobs and have the worst service. When I got the final **** I noticed there was decking on it. Since Im not a professional roofer I didnt know what that is, I emailed to ask and the owner was extremely rude to me, I was so shocked that an owner of any company would talk to me that way. I then asked for photos, someone sent them and I promptly mailed my second check to pay the balance. They cashed our first check 2/8/22 and our 2nd on 4/5, it had to be mailed from a different state, they didnt offer us another way to pay. The invoice was dated 2/17 however our roof was not finished until 3/28/22. On that day the owner emailed us stating things were done and to please remit payment. Just 2 days later they filed a lien on my house. As soon as it was done and they answered my questions I promptly put the check in the mail. I have never in my life had any issues with any companies. As I look at our communication the emails with my questions are the same day they filed this lien, truly the owner is being vengeful. My questions were valid and I didnt deserve the rude replies, let alone a lien.So fast forward to today 4/7/22 and I received a notice in the mail that they are putting a lien on my property for the entire amount of the roof. I will be getting a lawyer.

The woman of the house is NOT who contracted with us (the one making this statement). It was her husband. He verbally spoke with estimator about the fascia....it was NOT in the contract, as estimator did mistakenly not write it on his paperwork, so owner did not include it in the contract. Homeowner (male) still signed it, making no mention of it. Only AFTER home was roofed did homeowner say anything, and although we did not legally have to do it--we had fully fulfilled our written contract--we are honest, and we did it--to the tune of $2500 that we provided, free to homeowner-after the man of the house talked with our owner. We did NOT lien this home--she received a PRE-LIEN, which we send out to homes over a certain dollar amount. The pre-liens are sent out by a **************** and they send them out within a certain legal amount of time. We are not their only customer in the valley, and we do not dictate to them when to send them out. We only provide them with the information. The male homeonwer ONLY got the female involved (and we ironically have never heard from him again once she did) when I reminded him that he needed to pay the 2nd part of the invoice. After they sent in final payment, they received the pre-lien. Female homeowner emails us how horrible we are....we told her it's pre-lien and that those are sent out over a certain dollar amount, and she replied that it IS a lien, and she will be hiring an attorney. When I came to work today, I highlighted, and drew * red arrows to the verbage on the top of the paper that states "THIS IS NOT A LIEN". She has emailed us a statement that (her words): "I'll also be blasting you on ****** showing the lein and the cashed checks." ....May be pretty embarrassing when she blasts that she didn't know how to read.

I am very pleased with the work Almeida Roofing did for me. They answered all my questions and were very helpful and did great cleanup. Everyone I was in contact with were very pleasant. Thank you ****** ******** **** and the great crew.

Poor ******************* does not stand behind work or Warranty

We did this home in 2015. Customer had a leak-it's found that he has not once done any maintenance on this roof. He's upset that we gave him an estimate (which it states clearly in our written contracts that homes must have maintenance performed in order for warranty to be good. We gave him that estimate to maintenance the roof in 1-22-2020--2 years ago. We are sorry that the customer's opinion of what "code" is isn't correct, and that he feels that he does not have to stand by what the written contract states.

This answer perfectly illustrates why NOT to use this company. The work was performed in 6/2016, the contract clearly stated to install *********** closures which are essential to keeping water out and to cut corners they were never done. 4 years later leaks are discovered and instead of fixing the issue under the 10 year warranty that was provided they want to charge a maintenance fee for issues they created....... They simply don't stand behind their work, cut corners and perform liable work and claim no responsibility. Warning do not use Almeida Roofing.

This review is left by a customer who stated to us that ROC is 5 years...we told him it's ****he said WE don't know what we're talking about. Apparently he knows ******** Codes as well (NOT!). We are very sorry that this customer is not a qualified ********************** contractor or he could've clearly done it himself, and that he believes that we "cut corners", when in fact--we did the alternative to using a closure that is not made. Should he feel the need to contact us personally instead of a public bashing with his opinions, he is more than welcome to do so. Shows his character.
