Just went to rent an ** space at Premier Vehicle Storage in ******. It was mandatory I take out the ** insurance listed in the lease agreement.. This is a scam. ** ************** LLC and Tenant Property Protection LLC are one in the same. What they are offering is GAP insurance. It is not regulated by the ****************** of Insurance. Your primary insurance will cover any loss if you have the proper coverage. Do your research before signing on the dotted line.

To Whom It May ********** ************** takes all comments seriously and has obtained a copy of *************************** lease from Premier Vehicle Storage to address the concerns raised. It has come to our attention, ****************, that you did not complete your lease with the storage facility. After reviewing the lease language itself, we were able to confirm that tenants do have the option to provide proof of their own coverage and do not have to enroll in the ***************** protection program. There appears to have been a misunderstanding or perhaps you did not have an opportunity to fully read the terms and conditions of the lease. If you had completed the lease and provided suitable proof of third-party coverage to the facility within the requested timeframe, you would have satisfied the coverage requirements which would have prevented automatic enrollment in the warranty protection program.According to the full lease agreement, if a tenant fails to provide proof of coverage within the timeframe the facility requires, the tenant is automatically enrolled in the warranty protection program to reduce the potential risk of exposure to the facility by having some coverage in place in the event of a loss. This also reduces some of the liability for the facility and other tenants. There is always the option at ANY time to provide your proof of coverage and opt out of the protection program. Per Arizona State Statutes, all commercial owners can ask for proof of coverage while an outside tenant leases space or a unit on their property. Unfortunately, ****************, it appears you have misunderstood the warranty protection program offered. It is not GAP insurance. The terms and conditions of the lease state that the coverage is not a replacement for total vehicle replacement, nor is it a replacement for primary vehicle insurance coverage. It is a supplemental warranty protection plan designed to help offset the cost of ones deductible or accidental damage and theft. This is to ensure that a tenant is not left with a significant financial burden in the event of a loss.
