This title company took the buyers money for escrow before they were prepared to underwrite a policy. They failed to return the funds after they decided they were not prepared to underwite. Another title company has reviewed the documents and is prepared to underwrite. Lawyers Title is inhibiting our ability to proceed with our sale and to complete a purchase that this sale is contingent upon.Review from gaetana m.

Buyer Beware... To make a very long story short. We, the Buyer's did not select a home warranty that Lawyer's Title of AZ offered on 12.6.2021, the day we closed on our home. However, this request was ignored, therefore, we were charged $440.00 for this warranty. Our RE Agent has been in touch with them. We were in touch with *************************, who is Escrow Officer, both by email and phone. We have received several doc u signs confirming the refusal of the warranty. The last time being 1.5.2022. On 1.25.2022 ******* excuse was that I did not sign the docs. This is not true. If this was true, why did ***** not get in touch with us or our Agent and resend the doc. for a signature? All of our email correspondence has been saved, including her final statement to us that she has processed our request. To date, we have not received our refund. Our Agent followed up again yesterday, she was guaranteed it would go out ***** overnight. The request was made and paid for by our RE Agent. We have not received the tracking info for this delivery, as of yet. My next complaint will be filed with the *************.
