      There is a reason MAGNUS TITLE is not accredited by the BBB. They were chosen by the Payor to collect my mortgage payment. It took MAGNUS TITLE, THREE MONTHS to deposit the money into my account. Escrow closed August 31 2023, and I have had no resolve in getting the Payor's payment, taking numerous phone calls and even an email to *************************** the president of MAGNUS TITLE. Then they had the nerve to ask me to waive the Payor's late fee! Stay away from MAGNUS TITLE. There are many title companies in Arizona. Choose wisely. MAGNUS TITLE doesn't even deserve one star.

      We unfortunately had a very poor experience with this title company. It started out by Magnus (Tempe, Arizona) not sending documents back to our lender in a timely manner and forcing our lending team to follow up with them several times - the big kicker, however, was that they tried to charge us an unnecessary $300 for a mobile notary without us knowing. Someone from Magnus called me to schedule the signing and when I requested we do the signing at their office, she replied with its just easier for us to do the mobile notary and have you sign at your house and confirmed for me it was an extra $300 to do so. When we arrived to do the signing, they were very non-attentive and apathetic to us. We arrived 2-3 min before the signing, sat down in the signing room and proceeded to wait for almost 15 min before our real estate agent went to go find someone. We had to wait 5-7 days to get that $300 back. Even though we were buyers and didnt have a choice on title company, this showed us that among all the extra cost and fees that other title companies normally DONT have, that this company needs to improve tremendously to have our business again in the future.

      What a horrible company. We had legal documents for POA in affect and they did not honor them without any explanation as to why or why not. Then it was closing day and the paperwork was filed and the new owners moved in yet our money was never wired to us. HOW does that happen you just didn't follow through with the wiring of funds. What a horrible horrible and unreliable company find someone else to work with!!!!!!!

      Not all POA's provided have sufficient verbiage and/or disclosures to be used for the sale of real estate. A health POA and trust agreement were provided. However, underwriting informed us that it was inconclusive as to why the original trustee could not sign. The underwriting email was sent to the Seller and Listing Agent. An additional POA was provided the following Friday and too was not acceptable. The original trustee did end up signing on behalf of the Trust and recorded late the same day. The wire was sent within 48 hours.

      Hello ******* after this review I have uncovered the fact that Magnus Title not only do I feel discriminated against me personally it was a personal thing with them and I for whatever reason because maybe I'm a male I'm not sure the Dead with held thousands of dollars and *** tax lien on my property for me to file taxes just a couple days ago to earn that $1 has been paid into the taxes of my tax return or from Magnus Title nor do they have a record of it they're trying to tell me that there was never relieved when it was a private investigator working with them in the *** to determine these issues and it was held a boatload of my money to pay off these taxes before I ever got a ***** of my own money for my own property so now I called them to ask him what is going on and I'm getting the shovel in the run around me while me and my dog still maintain to be struggling and me because instead Scandal is my field this is not right I feel they need to look into this and not keep giving me the ball to run around and answer the questions they should be doing it in there not do you tell me what would you think

      Magnus Magnus Title has been one of the most unprofessional businesses I've ever dealt with and selling a property I have went into the location with my situation knowing that is special and different from everyone else that I needed water and food for me and my dog and a property while it was closing the buyer's offer $10,000 escrow money prior to closing as long as they need the title to be clear and probably could be bought why did all that they only gave me 2010 d nickel and I'm ending it made me sign paperwork saying something else that wasn't even a part of the contract for the other eight thousand and now they're only giving me 8 hours to be out of my property before they start charging me $1,000 a day to be here anytime after noon yesterday I never mind the fact that I was a fire victim can I broke my neck and fireplaces and me and my daughter living here at the mercy of any and every one that cares about is which is not too many cuz covid to my family member and this is just the most ridiculous poor saddest thing I've ever seen someone due to disability person as well as my pet and they haven't even as much offered me a bottle of water tragedy unprofessional and never mind the fact that they be created me to feel needy and asking him for help to begin with

      The contract between the Seller above and the Buyer did have provisions for the release of funds prior to the close of escrow if the Seller had clear title. The Seller had a total of six valid Deeds of Trust on the property. Four of the six, he was in dispute with the beneficiary on the amounts owed. There was also an addendum between the Seller and Buyer changing the terms, which the Seller agreed to and executed. Magnus Title is a third neutral party instruction taker. The contract nor addendum were negotiated by Magnus Title. We were given the documents after the parties agreed to them. We also have no control over the issue with the Seller and the beneficiary of the four other Deeds of Trust, which the Seller disputed. Seller signed the settlement statement and agreed to close.
