I took my boyfriend to a clinic called ****** care 24/7. I had a horrible experience. I called ahead to schedule and appointment. I took whatever appointment they had available because my boyfriend was in excruciating pain from a wisdom tooth. When I spoke to the representative, I explained I didnt have a lot of money so if I could be put in a payment plan that would be great. The representative said I can put 10% down and then I can pay the rest in a payment plan that will be auto deducted from my debit/ credit card. I agreed to this. When I got to the clinic they took him in for an X-ray and explained he will need surgery and that we can only get medicine for pain and antibiotics. They then told me it will be $700 in total. I said ok so so 10% of 700 is $70. They said no everything must be paid in full. I told them who has $700 in their pocket. I can pay up to $70 and thats it. The dental assistant became upset and started yelling at me. Then brought in another dental assistant who also started yelling at me. On top of this Im 8 months pregnant. And its very visible. My boyfriend ended up paying the $300 and did not get any treatment at all. I was so disappointed and embarrassed at the way I was treated also at the fact that I got ripped off by a medical clinic.
