Desert West Auto sales had a **** ***** Silverado **** HD pickup truck for sale. On January 4th 2022 I went to Desert West Auto sales and decided to purchase the Silverado. The salesman obtained financing for me. I had the down payment but was unable to obtain insurance because it was late in the evening by the time we got the financing.. I told the salesman I would be back in the morning with the down payment and insurance on the vehicle to pick it up. When I showed up at the dealership at around 11:30 a.m. January 5th 2022 the salesman came out said I have some bad news for you I sold the truck this morning. Needless to say I was not happy. He never called or bothered to contact me by any means to let me know someone else was there to purchase the truck and ask me whether or not I was still coming to get it. Even though he knew I had to wait till morning to get insurance so I could take the truck off the lot. So he basically sold the truck out from under me I was infuriated. I would like the Better BusinessBbureau to contact the dealership and see if this can be rectified I asked him to cancel the contract with the person that came in and bought the truck but he refused. This is the resolution I would like is for him to cancel the contract with the other person and sell me the truck it's only right. The salesman's name is *****Business response

First of we just want to say we are sorry you had a negative experience with us; we try to provide everyone with a positive experience. The day that we did the financing, I understand by the end it was late and you were unable to obtain insurance. We offered to put the down payment down to reserve the truck and we were even willing to defer part of the down payment so you could afford to put insurance on it, but you decided to not do the down payment that evening because you wanted to do everything in the morning. Without anything signed or money down, we are unable to hold any vehicle. The truck was sold in the morning minutes before you came in and therefore we did not have the opportunity to inform you the truck had been sold. It wouldnt be fair to that customer to cancel his contract when he came in with everything he needed. We were willing to help you find a similar truck, but we were met with insults, name calling, and harassing text messages. We did our best to provide all parties involved with a good customer service experience.
