      AWS is a web design company I used to create a website for me with there support in around October 2020. I had 2 years working with a guy named ***** then he left company. After that when I needed support for the next year I was able to talk with a lady about 3 times only. When I emailed support for help I never got it. So this year I have tried calling there phone # for help and is seems to be disconnected. Hangs up immediately. I have emailed them this year and get no response. I have messaged inside there ******** page and no response. Last week I transferred my domain name exploreoutdoorlife.com to Godaddy.com from Accelerated ********** LLC where now they are not hosting it through ******************* anymore. AWS was hosting the domain using wildwestdoamins. com (owned by *******) and my WordPress in being hosted by Amazon through AWS. I worked with a Godaddy inbound tech person on October 6, 2023 where we were trying to get my WordPress to transfer to Godaddy because this is the content for the website of mine. At this time I was able to log into my account with tech guy. What we found was AWS didn't give me ADMIN right of my own site and no plugins added where I can do any transfer to Godaddy. They DO NOT own my content in WordPress and should not hold it hostage for any reason. Here is the issue now. AWS has locked me out of my WordPress account where I cannot get in. If I go to link to reset password, it will come up to AWS page to create new password and the box to do this shows a half of a second and goes green saying "strong". They have coded it to set its own password where I cant see it, therefore I cannot set a new password. Its locked down. All of this is unfortunate how AWS treats me like this that I not cannot do anything with my website and will lose all my content of 3 years I have worked on because this expires October 18th, 2023 due to I am not renewing with them and this is how I get treated.

      I signed up for hosting a website monthly and didnt receive any hits for ads I was promised and being a new business, it became impossible so the business website is no longer on web and in service at all for almost 2 years. We have requested that this be canceled numerous times in the past via phone as well as support emails, but see that the $4.95 a month charge is still coming out of our bank account each month! I just want this whole service gone as it did not accumulate any revenue for us and is obviously mistaken monthly charges as they can see and know that we have no website at all being updated or used

      Thank you for taking the time to share your review. After carefully evaluating your account and the notes we have in our system, we have no record of any cancellation requests from you regarding the cancellation of your website, or your website hosting services.


      Considering you were a member

      with our company for several years and that you have received several training sessions with our staff, we were under the impression that you were utilizing the services and updating content to your website as we had trained you how to do.
      We can see that you have renewed your domain name in 2018/2019 however you had failed to do so in 2020.


      Our company offers domain management which is included within the services that you originally purchased. This means we send out 3-5 emails to all of our clients to inform them of the domain renewal 30 days before the domain name expires. It is the clients responsibility to renew the domain name each and every year.

      If the client does not inform us that they want to cancel their hosting services the client will continue to be billed for the management and hosting of their website files even if they do not renew their domain name, which secures the website files and archives them on our servers. This is an added value that we offer. In this case if someone forgets to renew their domain name, we still have backup files of the website saved for the client.


      We have attempted to reach you several times by phone to resolve this with you since the review was submitted and we have left a message with you on the phone number that we have on file, however the original number we have for you on file is no longer active. When you receive this message or get the voice message we left for you please call our office and one of our team directors will be happy to resolve this with you.
