May 2, 2022--Date of the bill for $$3716.51 Repairs to severaL windows at the back of our home--including replacement glass, weatherstripping.the owner Kevin has an associate here in tucson named Mike. After the work was completed, problems persisted with two back windows which could no longer be closed cranking them from the inside. The associate Mike was back a couple of times and I paid him an additional $75.00. Mike said that hewas unable to fix the closure problem and that Kevin would have to put in new "arms" . In a subvsequent date, Kevin said that he was awaiting parts. I called him twice since then, , the second time on Febvruary 23, 2023, reminding him of the problem and that we have a guest coming in that room. I have had no response.

I have attached the original Quote and line detail of the services rendered by Mr. *******. We replaced
glass and weatherstripping on 8 Hurd Wood casement windows. All windows were working as designed
when we left the jobsite on May 2nd. If the crank mechanism and/or hinges were not working properly it
would have been addressed during installation and replaced at an additional charge for parts and labor.
We carry these parts on the truck as these are common wear (failure) parts. Furthermore, these parts
are not altered during the glass and/or weatherstripping process.

Mr. ******* contacted me after some time and said his windows were not working properly. After
discussing the problem with Mr. *******, I said we would need to have a look but that a service charge
would be applicable because this was a new failure and not part of the original contract. Mr. *******
agreed to this. Once my associate determined the hinges had failed Mr. ******* paid the service charge.

Mr. ******* would like these repairs done as part of the original contract at no charge. Our original
contract was completed satisfactorily, and we have no negligence in parts that are common fail points.
All windows are inspected for operation after glass and weatherstrip installation. (We have to close the
      window).

      Thank you,
      ***** ******

We are not trying to "get something for free" as Mr. ****** indicates. . We are, and always have been, willing to pay for the repairs.

One major problem in this caseis that a long time has gone by without any response from him. (As you can see by the delay in his response to BBB)

On July 14, 2022, I spoke with Mr. ****** regarding whether any parts for the window arms had come in. He said that he had not received any shipments and that he had "not been back to Tucson".

I think that BBB sahouls at least NOTE THIS IN HIS FILE. As for the rest, I think it is better for both parties to abaondone any further dealings with each other, and consider the case closed.
