Safeway has entered into a pattern of False Advertising. They advertise items on sale when they clearly have none on hand or do not intend to make the item readily available. I have witnessed this almost weekly. Last week they advertised 5 ears of corn for $1 good only on Friday 8/4/23. I visited the store and none was on the shelf but was told the staff was getting some. I returned about 2 hours later, and still not one ear of corn on the shelf. Again told by a produce worker that they were working on it.This week Safeway advertised Sirloin Steak for $2.97. I visited the store yesterday on 8/9/23 the first day of the sale and none was available. I waited and talked to the butcher staff and was told they were "working on it" and some would be up soon. I visited the store again today on 8/10/23 at 8:30 am and again found not one package on the shelf, and again was informed by the butcher staff that it was available but they were working on other things. I returned 2 hours later at 10:30 am and again nothing on the shelf and the butcher staff claiming it was available but they were too busy to work on it.This is a clear pattern of deceptive false advertising. They indicated on the ad that the offer was subject to "While Supplies Last" but clearly they did have the meat available, they just were not interested in selling it at the advertised price.There were many other people looking for the same things while I was visiting the store. The store should have made these items available for purchase and since they did not do so, they need to stop this deceptive false advertising. I also deserve a raincheck for both items. One for 5 ears of corn for $1 and a second raincheck for two Large Value Packages of Choice Petite Sirloin Steak for $2.97 a pound, as I have indicated in this complaint.I have attached a copy of the latest false advertisement for the Sirloin Steak.Initial Complaint

Safeway offered a rebate of $15 for Budlight beer as a Just For U digital rebate. I enabled the rebate, and purchased a 30 pack of Budlight on 6/15/23. Rebate was supposed to be issued to my Paypal account within 5 days. No such rebate accured. I called the local Safeway office on 6/21/23 and on 6/22/23 and was given the "run around" by "******". I then called the Safeway corporate ************* at *********** today on 6/22/23 and they indicated they would work on getting me the $15 Credit. There was no dispute it was due to me. They checked my account and purchase records. I am due $15 rebate and Safeway cannot try to hide behind the internet and Paypay in delivering this rebate. This is simply deceptive advertising and or intent to defraud their customers.
