I am currently an independent contractor (newspaper carrier). Management and the rest of the employees that dont work during the day are on meth. Management of the independent contractors (******* and ********) are awful and will stab you in the back many many times. There is no privacy, if you go into the office during the day, you will catch management and all other employees talking c*** about other people most days. Higher management doesnt do anything about it because they dont know I believe. Everybody who currently works here is too scared to complain because theyll lose their jobs in retaliation. This place has a high turnover rate as well!! For a reason! If anybody is reading this, please look elsewhere for a job. Youll only fit in if youre dirty and doing crack.Review from Sharon E

My 2 neighbors and I share the cost of the Daily Courier Newspaper because we feel it is extremely expensive for the amount of days we receive the paper and the content. We are supposed to receive the paper Tuesday thru Friday, and also on Sunday, a total of 5 days a week. Most weeks the paper is not delivered all of those 5 days. When we call to inform them we did not get our paper that day the employee gives us a choice of either getting that undelivered paper the next day or getting credit on our bill. Well, we have learned to NOT ask for an additional paper the next day because on many, many occasions the next days paper is NOT delivered either so we get nothing. And we never see any credit on the bill. We used to look forward to starting the day with a nice cup of coffee while reading the paper but now all we get is anger and frustration because this has gotten to the point of being ridiculous. We are lucky if we receive the paper 3 days a week.We feel that this newspaper is lacking integrity and professionalism.
