    Rating an overall 1.0 for excellence service by technician ******* (would rate a 5), but a -5 for price gouging by the company! Was charged $383 for ******* to replace a $15 A/C part that took a total of 20 minutes from the time he pulled up, to the time he left.After ******* left, I called the company and spoke with ***, asked for a breakdown for the charges and was told it consisted for a $129 trip and diagnostic (which is a little high, but i get it), and $254 to replace the part. I shared with *** that it took ******* longer to walk to his service truck to find a capacitor than it did to unplug the old one and plug the new one in (maybe 5 minutes combined), and the parts cost is around $15. I asked *** if he thought that was high and he said, "well thats what we charge". I asked to speak to a manager or ownership and he said they would give me a call back. I did not hear back, so followed up 2 days later and spoke to *** again. He said he did speak with management and reiterated that that is what they charge.I get these companies provide an expertise and service that I was unable to provide, and I am comfortable paying for that service. However, I am not comfortable being fleeced (definition: to take someone's money dishonestly, by charging too much money or by cheating them).
