    My husband and I relocated from ******** to *******, so when the prong on my engagement ring he purchased from ******** bent we tried taking it to a local jeweler for repair. Unfortunately, the local jeweler did not feel comfortable making the repair because it was caused by the poor craftsmanship of the ring and therefore would continue to happen. So I contacted ********************* and we scheduled a time to meet and discuss the needed repair. The day we were supposed to meet, my husband and I made the 100 mi trek only to be informed by a confused ******** sales rep that **** was out of town. *******, I left my ring with them and continued emailing with **** to ensure he knew exactly what repairs I wanted/didn't want to be done. He was apologetic and offered the services for free which I appreciated because they do not offer a lifetime warranty. **** assured me that there was adequate room on the ring's existing head to lower the diamond, as I did not want the head replaced without seeing it beforehand. He promised the ring would look the same from the top. A week later I returned to the store and, despite ****'s promises, I was told my diamond was put on a new head. Not to mention, the new head was poorly installed and had jagged edges. I contacted **** and he denied that the head was replaced (although he admitted he did not do the work himself) and tried to blame me for the jagged edge. He later contacted my husband trying to get him to remove my online review of Raskins, although I still did not have my ring. The following week, my husband met with one of Gregs employees and my ring was returned. The jagged edge was repaired, however the diamond is set crooked and the head looks nothing like what it once did. **** did not keep his promise. Now, Raskins has announced they are going out of business. I am grateful that nobody will have to go through what I have, but I believe ********************* and Raskins Jewelers owe me for the damages caused by their negligence.

    Wish i coukd give negative stars!!! Took a NEW ring for consignment, they wanted to charge 50% - I said that was very high ($750 on $1500). They responded I would be called if there was an interested ********* would be able to negotiate then. About 6-8 months later I decided I would keep the ring & called to see about picking it up. It wasn't there & after checking it had sold several months ago!!! No one ever called me & no one ever paid me anything either!!! SWINDLERS!!! I went in & picked up a check...for $750. I wouldn't do business again if my life depended on it!!!!
