  This company replaced the roof of my home including skylights. The skylights make noise. They deny that the work of the business includes fixing noise. Properly installed skylights into a roof do not make noise. If this business' intention was to replace a roof with quality work then they did not do this. My complaints not only include a faulty roof but the workers arrived at the home for the work without notice before 7AM, climbing on the roof after the job without consent, rude and unhealthy workers, only one roof worker spoke English and ignored by questions (some in Spanish), defensive response by sales and owner to my request for making time to hear and see the "noise" from the skylight. The owner seems to think that he did what the contract said and refuses to pay for another skylight.

  We were not notified that there was a noise coming from the skylight until I called to request payment.  Two new skylights were installed and she is saying one of them is making noise.  We reached out to her several times to come and look at it.  She said it only makes noise on certain types of days and requested that the sales representative just wait around for her phone call so that he could come right then.  I cannot have my rep just sitting around waiting for her call and that was explained to her.  The work was done on her property and the 2 new skylights were installed.  She wants me to pay for another skylight which is not my responsibility.  We completed the work per our contract and I am expecting to get paid for the labor and materials installed.  Another note, my rep came out several times and one time she refused to let him it.  She just expected that she could call any time of day and he could just show up.  That's just not practical.  I explained that she could install a new glass skylight, at her expense, that would not make noise and she is still saying I should pay for it, but I have fulfilled the original contract.

  I repeat: The skylight in the roof makes noise. The business needs to fix it.

  Once again *****, at no time during this whole process did you mention anything about any kind of noise until your bill became delinquent and I called you trying to get paid. You told my sales rep you wanted to change out your 2 old 2x4 skylights and replace with 2 new 2x4 skylights, same size same brand, which is clearly stated on the contract you signed. Nowhere on the contract is it written or any notation from you about any sort of noise coming from your roof. We have been back to your house 4 different times. One time you wouldn't let us on the roof, once you didn't let us in the house and once you didn't show up. When you let us in we set up our tallest step ladder and got up next to the skylight and could hear the noise you are talking about. The noise comes about noon you said and that is when the sun hits the plastic skylight and warms it up it causes it to expand and makes the noise. I have offered to replace it with a glass skylight, I supply the labor and you pay for the skylight but you refused and wrote your complaint. My men are always polite and were hurt when you said those things about them. All I want to do is make you happy and get paid.

  I made many attempts through ************* and through you to report the ************ one week after your company took the dumpster away and before any request for second payment. Perhaps he did not report those to you. The skylight makes noise, confirmed by the salesman and another man here through my persistence to contact you and the salesman. when they were here the lens of the skylight was loose and moved in the frame. There is a noticeable draft of air toward the ceiling.
