Submitted a request on **** on Saturday 26 November for Garage ************ and was expecting a service call on Monday at the earliest and was pleasantly surprised and the timeliness of the response when ****** sent me a text telling me she could get a tech out my way on Friday which was fine I didn't have an emergency, and when I replied she informed me that they had a tech that could be at my location with the hour which worked even better.When **** the tech arrived he took a look at what I had going on, I had initially requested a dual torsion spring install because the original single spring that was installed in ***************************************** place and I have since had an insulated door installed and felt that the single spring was not a good idea any longer.I will say I am very happy with ****** work and his attention to detail on identifying issues which could have easily become catastrophic i.e. bearings worn to the point they were powdery and the center bearing was plastic not doing it's job at all, also he identified an issue with the door bowing when it opened.He installed a beam brace across the door which stopped the bowing and replaced the bearings on both ends and center along with installing the correct torsion springs. The technician, ****, called ahead of time and arrived right on time! He reviewed everything with me and explained the reason thier garage door opener costs more than the ones sold at ****** or *********** He did a great job of accessing the situation and provided a reasonable proposal for the work needed. I felt **** was trustworthy and competent so I hired him on the spot to do the work!

I had this company come and do a lube and tune on my garage ************ days later a garage door spring broke. As I had recently moved here and had no experience with garage doors in AZ I called the company back.. They came and discovered the broken spring. The employee offered to repair it immediately so I et him, also not knowing the prices here. After paying the **** of $627.98 I was informed by friends, who also had had the same repair done, that I was overcharged. And upon contacting other companies I found that no one charged more than $300 for a broken spring repair on a 2-car garage door. And other companies also replace the rod connecting the springs which this company didn't do.So first of all I wonder if the lube and tune didn't have something to do with my spring breaking 2 days after the first visit and I charge this company with overcharging.Iconic Garage Door Services LLC Response

Hello ******, I did take a look at your invoice. Our tech did recommend replacing springs the first time he was out. Your springs were overwound and the center bearing was bad and cutting your torsion tube. We ended up replacing the springs, center bearing & Center plate. This is a pretty accurate price for all of this, I see that he also did a 50 off coupon. I'm sorry you are not satisfied with the service. I do understand that some of our competitors offer a less expensive spring. While most here are priced the same as us or more we do offer a 40k cycle spring (most are 10k cycle). And that is why we offer a 10-year warranty on our springs. Not sure what resolution you are looking for you can reach me personally at ************
